No need to get ruffled amigo, this is core TRP, you knew what you signed up for. (I hope) If you try to dish out morality here, be prepared to get shit on.

I don’t care about what makes others feel good Good, and i'm sure your fellow trp'ers here do not care about your personal disgust. You can rationalize it any way you want, but people are going to do what gives them pleasure. As long as it's not happening to your and yours, don't stress. And don't fall for the PC Kool-Aid either: It's not your responsibility to police others around you, nor would you ever want that responsibility. It's futile.

I've heard of something similar to this. I've tried before, not in full detail, but something close and the effects were positive. Consistency in remembering to practice was the issue for me. I'll Hawking's book for further clarification and let you know. Thanks.

It does. So your process is to sit with trauma that's affecting you until the emotion subsides? What are the steps you take to bringing attention to the trauma?

That's a misunderstanding. You're not getting rid of that emotion, you're accepting it's existence. The resistance pull you receive from negative emotions is that emotions call for acceptance. It's like a kid that proactively acts out. What we see is a bad child and we try to ignore, but in reality that child probably lacks acceptance from their parents. Putting it off for another time, ignoring, or trying to get rid of it only feeds the sensation. If we were to completely rid ourselves of certa…

Because you're human. Letting go doesn't mean getting rid of emotions, that's physically impossible to the human race. Letting go is accepting your emotional state, yet continuing to live in the moment.

That's fine to disagree, but the trouble starts in the belief that what you disagree with is objectively wrong. Then you're just blue-pilling, and there's plenty of that already in this sub..

I got into an argument about this in a sub. Basically, OP declared that most straight men abhor anal penetration because of the "icky" fear of being viewed as gay, and the guys that tried it fell in love with it. Cue a whole thread of "yeah, straight guys should just man up and try it, it won't hurt them. I came in with the idea of, "Maybe it's not perceptional homophobia? Maybe it's not their thing and they have a right to refuse? Maybe straight men don't like the idea of being dominated? That …

Wow, imagine being this oblivious.. I get your perspective, and some girls don't know how to plate at all and some do sit at home binging Gone Girls.. BUT, the majority are taking advantage of this new technology called Tinder..

"You make me want to gag" Sounds like she was asking for a throat thrashing, some girls are not good at flirting.

Called that shit. You'd think they would have at least tried a spin-off first to gauge interest instead of going bold. Yet bold is a cunning strategy.

Idk about him being gay, but he's definitely sexually oblivious to women. 1.) Why would you keep talking with subtle interest to a woman you know is taken if you're not trying to hook up with her? 2.) Why would you let her pick you up from the airport knowing she is sexually interested in you and you "not about that life"? Particularly after the husband told you to fuck off? I believe he secretly wanted to fuck her, even after finding out she was married, but his beta morality (husband dangerous…

Don't say it online either. Don't say it, period. Don't even joke about it, your reputation as a man is EVERYTHING. I know you're young and it's hard to understand the complexities of the social pecking order, but your post and replies to these comments are screaming "WEAK". I've been down that road man, it's not a fun one. And no one cares if you "get it" or not, they will just walk over you. Even if you have to fake it till you make it, build some frame. Have a few friends test it. Revise and …
