Good advice. I have made leaps and bounds overall over the past 12 months but this particular aspect needs work in terms of asserting dominance INSIDE the bedroom as well as I do outside.

Appreciate this post, it's something I have been struggling with for a while now since I have been improving and the frequency is at an all time high. My hesitation is about killing the last of the nice guy beta and taking what I want and all signs indicate she does too. Might need to read SGM method again but begin the move to this level of openness and dominance in earnest. Great content!

I like the self confidence and optimism this post indicates. You will likely come to doubt yourself again as you go through the next few months. Be brave. Trust your resolve.

I'm going to try this method this week, thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks for the input, Persaeus, You make a good point about the immersion/kissing, I should take it less seriously.

Background/Overview First OYS. 36, Married 10yrs. Kids 6,1. Wife is SAHM, 38. Discovered RP through /r/DB in June 2016. Realised that I am the cause of my own problems. Been a drunk captain for years now (literally over the past few, drinking by myself most nights after kids went to bed). Been a relationship beta since day one, though curiously not in personal/work life (owned and sold a few businesses, leader/mentored lots of Uni/College grads who have gone on to great things, good industry rep…

Thanks for this post. Being six months in I am now at the stage you mentioned - regular sex but pretty much all starfish. More recently I have started to go half caveman out of frustration and your point rings true - I feel she can smell the indecision on my part. My OI leaves a lot to be desired and I am still grappling with the anger stage, only recently truly awakening from oneitis. Good post, perfect timing for me. Appreciated.

While i have picked up many aspects to MRP well in the first few months, OI is something I still struggle with, to the point the wife has brought it up even recently. There was a great comment in this thread to the tune of 'don't expect her to say yes'. I'll use this every night going forward and simply go do some work study.

Well done for getting the courage to tell your story. There may be others out there in a similar situation. Good luck with your journey and get reading.

I can relate to this. Last week my wife of 10 years went away for 3 days interstate for a similar MLN type conference. Initially she asked if she could go alone (we have kids) as she rarely gets that much time to herself. I told her to go and have fun. As many say around here, Trust but Verify. I asked out of interest during the lead up where she was staying and what the agenda was (a gala dinner on one of the nights, so dress ups). During the 3 days, she texted regularly asking for updates 'wha…

A great refresher for someone a few months in. Thanks!

Wow. You need to man up and divorce her. Accept that she played you and become better.

I get it. I was misguided thinking I could reason with someone not motivated by such. Action it is then.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
