Wait… I thought women did not like when men said things like “Take her on a swim on the first date”

Have you seen ME whining about that? Otherwise, it’s a faulty generalization fallacy
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/24 01:24 PM

Why would the man attack me tho. And if it does, is easier to defeat him than a bear.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 12:57 PM

Are you implying that there is nothing to prevent a man from attacking you? Otherwise, what’s the point of this?

I think that when men make fun of women for choosing the bear, it's because those men are ignoring the point of the actual question: The question is not about the "why" of the choice, but men have to strawman it and make it about the "why" in order to make fun of it. It's rather notable that noone is making fun of or arguing against the actual reading of the question. Meanwhile, women who make fun of the "woman vs tiger" aren't making fun of men for their choice. They are making fun of men for m…

Doesn't matter if I like it. At the end of the day, men are going to do it anyway. Sometimes I'll respond, most of the time I won't. Hold up. What I meant is that, you think Men are in the right for making fun of women who choose the bear? That’s what I meant, sorry if I phrased it wrong. In my case, I don’t think women are right for making fun of men for choosing the tiger. But that doesn't matter, because as you say, most men don't actually mean it. The point of the man and bear thing is most …

My point was also about how the guys responding don't seem to know that that's the actual reason of the question. Your previous comment seemed to imply that you also didn't know that, but your recent steelman seems to imply you do, so I will retract based on I think we misunderstood each other there. Well, I always understood the idea: Women are so scared of men they’d rather encounter a bear. So I never actually misunderstood what you were saying. But yeah, thanks for agreeing. People can make …

I’d like to see the logic of the first slide applied to false rape accusations
/r/MensRights08/07/24 09:42 PM
1

And your thought process there validates my comment Your og comment was about how the hypothetical was simply for women to express their feelings on men (if I’m right), and that this should make us men want to search for a solution. I agree that women have a fear of men that stems from bad experiences and it’d be good to solve it. What in my other comment validates your point? The fact that you saw a thing you were looking for does not affect the point to which you were responding. My point was …

Again, it doesn't matter how many women take it seriously or not, because the deeper reasoning of why wasn't even relevant and only came up because men forced the conversation. The initial thought experiment was just asking the question and moving on. It wasn't until men started barking at them to "defend" the case that they started becoming defensive. Men did not “force” the conversation. Me for example, I am just here to explain how from a logical perspective, the bear has not been chosen for …

Well, many women disagree with you

As I said, I did not think the trauma ended with the attack.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/24 08:54 PM
1

Then it’s a pretty useless way of doing a commentary, specially when many women took it seriously and really think bear is the best option. Then why women don’t like when men created a similar thought experiment (Would you rather encounter a woman or a tiger/bear)

Are these contradictions/errors, or do they have any logical explanation? Are you relying on ChatGPT to make your argument? Using? Yes. Relying? No "I choose the bear because the bear would not [insert something that only a human can do / only happens among humans here]"... The examples you gave are related to the aftermath of being attacked/assaulted/raped. Very often, especially around here, people pretend like the trauma of a rape or sexual assault ends when the attack ends. It doesn't. Runni…

But you can always minimize risks
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/24 04:39 PM

Well, minimizing the risk of something doesn’t mean you think something is inevitable
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/24 04:03 PM

The thing is, logically speaking, no one makes all his decisions based on the worst case scenario.

What you mean
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/24 12:39 PM

Nope. Because based on the way women talk about it, it rather looks like they are encountering the bear

/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 11:27 PM

Without encountering the bear or the man , what’s the point of the question? Woods are big, you can be alone in the woods with a bear at 500m of you
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 11:23 PM

So the women that say they are in the wrong, are the ones in the wrong?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 11:20 PM

I see. That sounds pretty egregious, but I don’t quite see his that is worse than encountering a bear
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 11:20 PM

The chances of a man trying to flirt on you in the woods are very very low

“Even if you encounter a bear they will generally Leave you alone if you aren’t provoking it and the question wasn’t about facing a bear attack vs an attack from a man.” The human will most likely be a decent man who will help you. “Women like me assume that if I saw a bear it would keep doing its business and I could leave without provoking it or it would look at me and then leave. Bear attacks are very rare because if you aren’t provoking it, right up In its face or near its cubs, don’t have f…

Because Turns out, my beliefs on these topic are different from women’s, and I want to hold my beliefs until they get debunked Well, then yes. I am not trying to disprove anyone feelings, but their arguments. I don’t actually care if a woman said “I choose the bear cuz men scare me”. I’d say is an irrational fear, but I don’t criticize further than a playful joke my sister from brick scared of frogs, so I don’t care

Man vs Bear debate is a specific topic No, because I am not calling anyone a Nazi. If you don’t like the analogy, then, I think we both think we know better about the shape of the earth than someone that thinks earth is flat right?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 10:02 PM
1

It’s true for everyone we think we know better about a specific topic than anyone we think is wrong in that topic. That’s what they told to young aryans that criticized the n*zi regime you know (Do you think you know better than the whole government?)

What part if my post implied that I believe I know better than women?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 09:49 PM

No, I have only interacted with feminists on Reddit
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 09:46 PM

If a sub about feminism and a sub about women are not indicative of what feminists or women think, they should do some administration on them
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 09:43 PM

I believe women are blowing it out of proportion when they say a bear is much much better than a man to be in the woods
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 09:40 PM

Personally no. But if the women at r/feminism and r/twoX are an indicator, they do not really like it
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 09:39 PM

False Equivalence Fallacy

I have terrible typing. Yes, I mean bear
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 09:15 PM

Then, I answer: It bugs me that women seem to give such fallacious reasons to defend their position, and since I had not ennough Karma to comment on Reddit before, I had to wait a while

You have more chances of being killed by the bear then raped by a random man
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 09:10 PM

“OP. Have you ever been hiking alone in the woods, in the vast majority of upper north America? Then congratulations. You are alone with a bear in the woods. Where I live the woods are the bears homes.” It’s about encountering a bear in the woods. “Certainly polar bears are dangerous. They do not live in the woods. Grizzlies are also dangerous, but if you make enough noise while hiking alone they are happy to avoid running into you, and they are rare, most people dont hike in grizzly country. If…

Then why they choose it?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 08:43 PM

Women say they’d rather choose the bear, yes or no? My point is, choose the bear is not an option that seems to be chosen out of reason
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 08:43 PM

I think we have a little confusion here. When I say women say Bear is the best option, I mean, in the specific situation of encountering a man or a bear in the woods.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 08:35 PM
3

But don’t women criticize men that don’t want to be close to women due to the Me Too movement cuz it makes them feel unsafe, since they can be accused of anything at any moment?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/24 08:34 PM

?????????????? WHAT? There’s no difference between saying that you’re rather encounter X than Y, than saying that encountering X is better option than encountering Y
