3	Why do men have initial respect for each other, but women almost hate each other My history teacher asked us the same question in high school. He explained it as a social legacy from prehistoric times. Times where men had to work together to bring down animals was more dangerous than them. There was no room for enmity here as it would result in death. Women on the other hand had different roles. They were gathering where each individual gathered separately and not as a team effort.
