I believe in science and data. Not hurt feelings or pissy opinions. Sort of like denying gravity, you're free to deny its existence but its effects will be felt.

You literally have no idea what you're talking about. We're talking about the evolutionary psychology behind men not wanting to settle down and have kids with a woman who's had so many dozens of partners. Read Dr David Buss, he's the most cited author in history on the subject. Men don't want to be with a woman who allows that many mating partners into the bedroom. #TrustTheScience

Weak $hit. Powerful consciousnesses can handle the truth no matter how uncomfortable it initially may be.

Personally I don't really care. It's just the thought experiment of what is the number of partners (female's past sex partners) in which men are given pause.

It's an absurd argument. It's implying that a man who can't handle a woman with a shit ton of partners is not as leveled up as the man who chooses to be with a partner who's been with significantly less partners. You're making claims again MaxXx.

Let's assume that's true. Do you think that most of the men on this thread have no logic behind their argument that they'd prefer a woman who hasn't been with 58 men? Is there something inherently wrong with wanting a woman who's more selective with their sexual partners?

You honestly think if Patrice were still around he'd be locking down the girl who has been was with the whole football team vs the hot cheer captain? Sounds like somebody's been whacking off and lying to themselves again, Timothy.

Yeah I get it. I can't help but think if maybe a woman falls in love with a man who's in his thirties, and then finds out he's not religious but is a certified virgin. I can't help but think that'd give her pause. (I'm speaking about a modern woman who's lived in a big city for an extended period of time, been with a healthy amount of partners)

As with everything important in life you'd prefer to have as much data as you can on the given subject. So a hypothetical that comes to mind is what if 52 of her partners we're during a 1-year span where she really wanted to become sexually liberated and she had sex with one new man per week. The other six partners were all apart of serious relationships. You get where I'm going with this?

I deem you to be a good faith actor. I suggest you reread the woman's post. It's not at all apples and oranges. The woman is talking directly about how she's having a hard time finding a mating partner to have a family with because of her partner tally.

Basically. I think you bring up another interesting point. In 15 years, will order men (39-55) care as much/at all about their mates sexual partner frequency. I see it shifting towards being more liberal in nature but I think a lot still has to do with the male's perception of their status in society. Not my opinion by the way, Dr. David Buss is the most cited evolutionary psychologist in history and this is his thesis. High status males, out of all of the potential mating partners in the popula…

I think the main takeaway is if this woman is 27 years old like she claims to be, she will still have fantastic odds of finding a suitable mate that loves her for who she is. Sadly though, I think if this woman was 42 years of age with the same stats, it potentially could be much harder.

I think the reason I find it interesting is because I wonder what if her number was 28 male sex partners, would there be the same level of upheaval on here? Is there a collective unconscious number that gives most men pause? It's all very interesting stuff.

I respect your opinion. Most men disagree with your standpoint but that's what makes this an interesting discussion thread, wouldn't you agree?

Whether you find the term cringey or not, it's still a number that most men find unattractive.
