If you don’t feel like settling for ‘less’, than you should step up your game. If you don’t you have no right to complain. You don’t want to settle for less, why should women do that for you? I hope you’ll figure things out.

This will sound harsh, but it needs to be asked. Are you sure you’re not looking ‘outside of your league’? I often see both men and women wondering why ‘nobody wants to date them’. Meanwhile they don’t even meet their own standards. RPers have a terrible habit of having sky high demands for woman, because they feel entitled and have double standards. If you want a good looking guy, be a good looking woman. If you’re not good looking; hit the gym. If you want an educated woman, be an educated man…

Then you’re surrounded by the wrong women. I hope you’re not referring to what you see on social media, because that is a very poor representation of the average woman you’ll meet in your life. That’s another RP problem; their ideas on woman tend to be based on what they see on social media/famous people. I think you would hate it too when a woman says ‘all men are trash’ because they had bad experiences with men in their live. I learned from personal experience that if men/women around you are …

I’m not going to deny that it’s harder for average looking men in today’s dating climate to find romance or even just sex. But it’s a typical RP hoax that women don’t have to put effort in their looks and have men at their feet 24/7 to sleep with them. If that would be the case, ugly women and attractive women would get equal attention. They don’t. Because men, like women, also care about physical appearance. I hope you will understand that men and women are not as different as RP makes us out t…

Woman here and Psychology undergrad, so I know a bit about the ‘basics’ regarding men vs. women. I’m about to take a course in Evolutionary Psychology next semester, and I’m looking forward to, since RPers love to make claims relating tot this field of study.

Exactly.

It guarantees them a woman. Every RPer cries himself to sleep from time to time because they can’t have a woman, no matter how much they seem to hate them. Islam sees marriage as part of your earthly duty as a muslim (deen), and a partner isn’t supposed to be selected based on ‘superficial’ criteria like looks etc.. They (muslim women) are everything we (Western women) aren’t, according to them. Funny thing is; they are wrong in some aspects. For example; they hate how Western women expect them …

First of all; define toxic? You seem to define toxic as the opposite of boring, which doesn’t have to be the case. Do you just mean gorgeous women with their own style and flamboyant personality who give you amazing sex but play terrible mindgames and the same time? Yeah, those are toxic ones. You’ll get over them with time, as you’ll become more mature and might crave more stability and peace. Untill then; there is nothing wrong with dealing with these women BUT TAKE PRECAUTIONS; DO NOT GET IN …

Because those ‘facts’ are not really facts. If a bunch of people share the same experiences in life, it doesn’t automatically make them facts. Even if there is a shred of truth in it: there’s a severe lack of nuance and double standard thinking going on.

So you make an uninformed, incredibly unnuanced statement and afterwards seek out evidence to support it. By the way; your last source clearly states that the thinner profile received twice as much attention, so there seems to be a preference there. Have you taken into account the variable of age? Do men and women stay equally picky over the years? Also; you still haven’t proven that men don’t care. Men still have a preference, even if it might be less specific than women.

Or maybe we shouldn’t change the definition of a phenomenon just so it fits our narrative. Maybe we should just accept that certain things aren’t actually sexist.

So we’re gonna pretend as if “pick me’s” isn’t an actual phenomenon and just a ‘sexist term’? Lol OK
/r/ExRedPill20/08/21 03:25 PM

That’s not even what sexist means. The term is so overused nowadays that people don’t even now what sexism actually is. Gendered terms are not inherently sexist. Is ‘mother’ a sexist term? I guess not. There is also a male equivalent to a pick me; a ‘simp’. So not only women are mocked for making a fool out of themselves to attract the opposite sex.

It’s not sexist. It doesn’t imply that women are worth less that men.

They definitely haven’t spit out the RP. They’re still stuck in this idea that women are more shallow than men, hence the ‘argument’ that women have a much more narrow scope of interest

You had no other reason to casually interject your personal experience that, “conventiently”, aligns with your argument, other than to use it to strengthen your argument. You claim what you say is backed up by research yet haven’t shared a single source where it’s obvious that men have a much broader scope of interest compared to women. So what that men on dating apps prefer 2 ethnicities, and women prefer 1. You said men don’t specifically care about height, weight, race, etc., and women do. Ag…

You seem to base your idea of reality on what happens in your close circle. That’s not a good representation of what really goes on. You still haven’t proven your point that, for men, ‘anything goes’. I could argue that I know many black men that only date non-black women, or many men that won’t date fat women. It doesn’t make it a representative sample of the population.
/r/ExRedPill20/08/21 12:31 PM

That’s true. Same goes for black women. They have the lowest response rate of all ethnicities. So you still haven’t proven your point that men have a much broader preference than women.

I hate to pull that card, but she’s giving me MAJOR pick me vibes. As a woman, I wholeheartedly support women being financially independent (as if you can’t be feminine AND have a degree AND be financially independent). In 2021 we can’t afford to stay in bad relationships/marriages because we can’t pay bills on our own. Femininity DOESN’T equal dependence and/or naivety.

You make absolutely no sense. It depends what kind of man/woman you’re asking, and even within those specific groups there is of course variation in preferences. Why would women have a more specific preference than men? It’s based on absolutely nothing.

Better in what way? Physically? Generally speaking; no (receding hairline, weight gain, health decline, etc). Men get better with age in a financial sense. Male aging= more money= increased ability to attract young women, according to RP. Which is absolutely hilarious. The average man (and RPer) would NEVER make enough money to attract young beautiful women.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
