I like the analogy attempt but my perspective on this is that similar to attraction, respect can’t be negotiated and equating transactional sales axioms of a consumer base is incoherent with sexual dynamics. Sure dating may be reducible to transactions but when you already have the plate giving you what and she oversteps the mark by disrespecting makes her instantly expendable in my opinion. I’ve been in this situation before of learning TRP principles while in a LTR. I went too far in trying to apply everything I read too soon and it caused more issues because I didn’t really understand what I was doing. I’ve taken a few philosophy classes in my time, and after a certain point taking classes doesn’t actually offer you anything that you can’t do yourself by reading arguments from philosophers and trying to structure their arguments into premises and conclusions. Similar can be said for math, sure, but math is inherently more valuable for a resume than philosophy.
