| 2 | Quick question about rape and combat service for womenMy point is less about weapons and more about the will to resist. I've been on the receiving end of DV. It was not fear of the individual in front of me but rather the threat from society, the law, etc that kept me from asserting myself in a prompt and decisive manner. I suppose I'm splitting hairs but I believe there is a difference between being a victim and being an unwilling participant in an event.
