I would wager to say that any single mother who wasn’t born into wealth or working a professional job is NOT raising her kids on her own. The government and/or child support is helping her raise her kids. And looking at the choices she has made so far, she is definitely not a working professional.

My guess is if she's making decisions like this at 19, she wasn't going to have much of a life to ruin. If anything, this may have improved her life. Depending on where she lives, she could qualify for government subsidized housing, food, child care, and education.
