It's worth pointing out that we live in a nearly unique historical moment where the services of the young are almost fully socialized for the benefit of the elderly. The traditional advice comes from an era where filial piety was both an expectation and a retirement plan. The current social model allows old, childless people to reap all the benefits of the children their neighbors spent resources rearing while simultaneously internalizing the full value of their labor... But as a consequence, ha…

Economic autonomy is bodily autonomy, because you can't force someone to work without also deciding that they have to use a portion of their limited health and lifespan for another's benefit. Though to be honest I don't believe in a right to bodily autonomy anyways so whatever. The government has the right to tax you, has the right to conscript you, and has the right to force you to carry to term. It's all the same thing under the covers anyway.

The violent men should be held legally responsible-- by women. If you want to change the status quo, why not do it yourself? More women cops, more women soldiers, more women drone pilots. Men are responsible for making other men nicer to women to the exact same degree that women are responsible for making other women act nicer to men. and yet we are supposed to accept that men should be “leaders”? I don't have any objections to violent men being removed from their leadership positions. So go and…

Wars aren't won by killing soldiers or taking land, wars are won by annihilating the enemy's capacity to fight. That invludes annihilating the will of their civilian populace to support a war. It took twenty years for the US to leave the middle east because american citizens were minimally affected-- if was just something happening in a far-off sandbox. Sure, money was being wasted, but practically no american citizens were starving or dying due to the war. Similarly, no matter how poorly putin …

Maybe you need a big red circle pointing out where to go?

What do you mean centuries? Our entire evolutionary history has been competition to acquire mates at the expense of other men.

Well if I'm part of that 10%...

Why would they be fat? There would be far greater pressure on females to be pretty in order to get laid as competition increased. They'd still be feminists, but so what?

Many radical feminists argue that we should reduce the male population to 10% and only keep them for procreation. I dunno, that sounds like a pretty good idea if I'm in the 10%.

No, the reverse is true as well. Men value beauty more, but not exclusively.

Yep. In general, people want their SO's to be high-status, and black people (for a variety of socioeconomic reasons) are less likely to be than white people. So in that first-impression that matters so much to finding a SO, they're disadvantaged. There was some study done by Tinder confirming that.

The religious (far) right has quite a bit of power, although they tend to focus less on video games/the internet and more on literature and movies.

The same goes for rightist nuts, what with the whole religious/moral censorship. It's a radicalism thing, not strictly a political thing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
