2	Is the term "misogynists" currently being overused? Hello my friend I'm also from the Philippines. Pardon my rant please. I have noticed that Filipinos have a huge bias in favor of women, even in law. As you know we have the Violence Against Women and Children law but no law equivalent for Men and especially battered husbands. I asked my college prosecutor prof about what law protects battered husbands and he said that the Philippines doesn't have a law specifically protecting husbands from abuse, therefore only regular law applies.
