I suspect men "on the ground" won't be utilized in future wars. Ukraine and Israel both have made massive surges in drone capabilities. In my job(locksmith), the company has 8 service trucks on the road, with men going out to do the work. The shop has 2 men and 2 women. There are 4 women doing accounts Receivable/payable and payroll. The road guys and the shop workers bring in all the money the company makes. There is a constant push to keep the road guys out on the road doing more work to bring in more money. He's been building and planting ever since. dug his rice paddy out into a huge pond and stocked it with fish, domesticated some feral chickens, built a forge and made his own tools, made his own pottery from red clay, did it again with white clay.
