Am I the only one that thinks this is way out of proportion to the offense? I mean, yeah, this is stupid shit, but that girl was not threatening the one that made her fall. That looks like it really had the potential to hurt her. If she fell and hurt herself, I would have zero sympathy. But when someone pushes you, that crosses a line. Obviously, there is no control/authority in this classroom. That person (unclear whether it’s a boy or girl) could have just left the classroom.

And this is where things get complicated. If they were married, for sure he’ll have to pay child support unless the bio dad is found and steps up. If they weren’t married, she can sue (and will most likely win) for child support. In the eyes of the court, he is the father (not necessarily the same as bio father), and they will do what is best for the child.

Height and weight are not perfectly analogous. A person CAN lose weight if they try. No matter how hard a person tries, he cannot grow taller. It’s shitty to call someone out on something they can’t change (height, skin color, eye color, disease process, etc). In my mind, it’s ok to throw shade about something someone can change (dress, hairstyle, weight, etc) because they can actually do something about the critique.
