They do mention that, yes. You can see it in the ways mothers raise sons. Totally understand if you don’t want to take my word for it but you could watch it yourself and see.

How masculinity is taught to children. How girls and boys are socialized differently and boys are told since birth that they’re never enough and have to constantly surpass every girl and every other guy. To me, made a lot of sense as to why guys are so frustrated by rejection and expectations placed on them in general. The expectations are always super unreasonable and unachievable.
