Sigh... And most Americans are overweight or obese, hence the enormous rates. If you read my longer post below, you would see why that is not the case. We are #1 on heart disease. We are #18 in obesity. This doesn't add up. You know what we are #1 in though? Meat consumption. So no, obesity clearly is not the primary cause.
