If an alpha male is entirely defined as "someone who wins the approval of women", that's not an inherently alpha way of looking at male potential. If your only measure of success is achieving intercourse, then your only method of self-validation is by seeking the approval of others. 10	The Guiness ad for beta males I agree with a lot of this, and I don't think that the guys in the commercial were wimps or inherently unmasculine. In fact, if I were in a wheelchair, those are the sorts of people I'd want as my mates. But one thing to remember is that the men Guinness chose to show us aren't imposing restrictions to challenge themselves. If that were the case, they'd all have gotten out of their wheelchairs at the end of the commercial. They're doing it for the sake of their friend.
