Yeah my hair was thinning a while back, I think just due to stress. I really connected with the community so even when my hair grew back I've been posting and giving advice. Same with the Seddit community. Connected with the struggle of the people so I post here even through the periods when I'm not single.

I'm trying to give advice to OP. Me being average looking would have invalidated my point. Plus I love being right.

I'm not trying to rub it in. I had never posted pictures of myself and the dude somehow said I was normal looking which would have invalidated my original post. But apparently if you're good looking and you know it you're a douchebag.

I'm a really good looking guy 8.5+. Whatever you think happens to good looking guys doesn't happen. We're not constantly bombarded with girls all the time. We still have to go out and initiate and put in the work. Everything is easier when you're actually doing that, but we have to do everything that normal guys do.

I don't really get what your intention / question is? At one point you mentioned how you just want it to be fun and nothing with strings attached especially with the health scare. Is this not the case anymore? At one point I thought you were going to ask how to let him down easy and the next you said you were trying to make something of it. If it's a relationship you want with this boy than let him know. If he says he's not interested in that than you either have to accept that and continue the …

Snapchat is fun and flirty. One every 2-3 days is fine. Has an added bonus if you're good looking in that you can remind her of that.

Notice the eye contact. Doesn't work as well if either of you are looking away the whole time. THAT is an awkward silence.

It's not one topic that you need to spend the date talking about. It's a whole bag of things, all the while escalating physically if you can. Talk about you, what's going on in your life, things you're good at, topics you found interesting that happened in the news or something. Find some common ground.

I've always had success with places we both haven't tried. But really that part doesn't matter as much as the conversation you have when you get there.

It's pretty likely that some of those things will actually happen. You won't know what to say, you'll feel a little creepy, etc. The best advice for you is: Try to make everything natural. Do NOT ambush some girl from the side or from behind where she can't see you coming. Make eye contact, smile. See if she maintains eye contact and looks responsive. THEN go. Mentally this is a lot less nerve-wracking as some of the pressure has already been relieved - she's at least willing to give you a shot.…

You need to be more proactive about meeting and hanging out with people (not necessarily girls). Ask guys that you meet if they'd want to do a gym sess together or whatever. Also, there's a ton of resources online that set up like "group hangouts" for people who are exactly in your situation.

That's pretty much 100% how I would approach it. "I keep getting mixed signals from you so for now I think it's best we go separate ways. I just find I'm spending too much time playing this guessing game and I don't find it works well for me remaining friends with someone I'm romantically interested in". Either way you should get a clear answer and if you still don't then you know 100% that it was the right call to walk away, she's being purposely difficult.

For those wondering why this would work, consider you're the friend the girl is with. Some guy comes in, starts buying everyone drinks and shooting it up with everyone, he's sort of breaking his way into the circle and taking control.

If they're movable seats, definitely angle at least a little closer to her. But if it's a booth.. it can be a little odd to get into the booth next to someone.

If you have pretty undeniable evidence that she's into you, showing some sort of vulnerability is sometimes the natural next step. Not going overboard or anything, but it's not always bad as that's usually the way she finds out you're interested.

There's a lot of people who will tell you "leagues" aren't a thing, but they are, the leagues just aren't set in stone. It's really hard to deny the glaring evidence of "attractive people generally date other attractive people". That's because if you can date good looking people, why wouldn't you? Of course this doesn't mean that unattractive people can't date attractive people. Go for what you want. I don't think it's fair to yourself or your potential partner if you felt like you were "settlin…

Good job on the approach. There's nothing wrong with having to psych yourself up for an hour before approaching. I think I'm one of these "attractive" friends you're talking about and I've had to hype myself up lots of times. As for "the feeling of rejection", it's better to look at it as "I'm not what she's looking for", and you can't be a match for everybody so there's nothing wrong with that.

The past 2 girls I've been with have been a 9 or 10 depending on who you ask. I'd say the opposite of "getting over it" happens. I really believe that it's different than having sex with an 8 or below. I've found that I can't go backwards now. It's not healthy, but whenever I see just a regular pretty girl I see them as somehow "beneath me". I'm only 24 and it's very possible that this will change with time.
/r/seduction16/12/14 08:05 PM

Seems like just a case of right place, wrong time. I'd clarify that you're interested and then just leave it. Maybe something along the lines of "it's too bad we sort of found each other at a bad time, i think you're great and i'm definitely interested. maybe one day we'll find each other again when things look a little different".

Wow, that's actually a pretty positive response. Is she recently out of a relationship or something? I'd be curious as to the reason she gives. If you don't know, I'd ask her about it. As long as you're not pestering her when she's given signs that she's not interested (which she hasn't done at all), then it's not weird at all to ask these things.
/r/seduction15/12/14 05:42 AM

She's not gonna forget that you exist because a few weeks have gone by. Close to the end of the break or when you get back just say "hey, i was thinking about you when we were gone, you wanna meet up this/next week?"
/r/seduction15/12/14 05:37 AM

I think you're overthinking it. You're worried that people are thinking negatively about you when the reality is they're probably not thinking about you at all.
/r/seduction15/12/14 05:33 AM

No. Stop "wondering" and ask her. After a little bit of flirting just say "just curious, have you ever thought about me in anything more than a friendly way?". Whatever her response is won't make it too awkward in Europe. Also, if she says no, she means no. Do NOT interpret that as "not yet", move on.
/r/seduction15/12/14 05:32 AM

"Come get a drink with me" or "come outside for some air with me" is the right response. Chat her up there where you can hear more.

Sounds like there's a bunch of green lights there. From a different perspective, you could try something like "How about I take you out on a proper date?". Also, one day's notice is a little short for making plans for a date but hopefully she's free. Also, "bringing her back to your/her place" is ideal, but if it doesn't feel like the context is right or that it's not the natural progression, don't force it. There's nothing wrong with a little mac sess and a "I had lots of fun tonight, let's han…

There's no need to call it "working on inner game". Things like anxiety are very real and should be treated not just you'd want an easier time picking up girls. Fixing things like anxiety and depression will change your entire life for the better.

I think direct approaches are okay if you're time constrained but fully agree with "hi, can I have your number" is too strong. Build some report with her first even if it's just a few sentences.

I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about wanting only sex from someone but wanting it to be an exclusive deal. I've been in tons of these kinds of things so there's nothing unusual about it. Just be honest. "Hey listen, I'm down to just be friends with benefits but I find it weird if there's another guy. I get it if you want to keep seeing the other guy but I'm gonna bail."

Texting is a form of communication and can be used effectively and ineffectively. I find it comes down to the strengths and personality of the dude. I text, but I limit myself. There's small things you can pick up for when you see her in person among other advantages.

It's a stacked game man. A physically attractive girl is going to have an easier time with meeting new people for hooking up. But the thing to realize is what you're going through is 1000% normal. We've all been there. Until you're in a better place, I wouldn't advise against just leaving if you see her at the bar you're at. You're probably not going to be able to think about anything else all night. It'll throw your game off with girls. Leaving might seem like a loss at the time, but it's not. …

I don't think you did anything wrong. The signals all seemed to be right anyway. It sounds like this girl already knew this guy and she left with him. A very unclassy move on her part to give you the wrong impression and leave so cold, but it happens.

This subreddit does a terrible job in teaching that some girls just don't want to put out right away. Even if they want to they won't due to societal pressures and what not. Also, depending on the date, sex right away isn't the natural progression and there's nothing wrong with that.

Here's an example of an interaction. Catch eyes. Smile. "Hi, what's your name?" "Hi [name], I'm "heretogetbetter" ... Listen [name], I think you're pretty cute ... That's a completely natural interaction that happens in the world all the time. It shows intent and isn't weird in any way. As to your point about being with a friend, I think a big thing is assuming you're interrupting whatever important thing they're doing together and that you'll be a nuisance. You're not. Yeah. Flirting isn't necessarily say "what do I say?" or else we could all just look it up on the internet and it would be easy. A humongous issue that I never see brought up on this subreddit is learning the subtleties of language (both body and verbal). What you're probably doing is learning how to keep a conversation going and interesting naturally which is hugely important. Just keep it up and you're bound to have some breakthroughs sooner or later.

asks her why she's not interested in talking. Wouldn't be my approach. "That's too bad, you seem liked fun" is good, but I'd follow that up with "your loss" and walk away. But I suppose everyone is different.

Yeah.. it doesn't really matter why you get into it. Sooner or later you'll get addicted to the results and do it more for yourself anyways. That's like saying "I quit smoking to spite my ex" isn't doing it right.

When you go up to a girl, you know you like things about her, but you're not sure if you like her yet. Use the first conversation to find out some things about her. What she goes to school for, what she does for a living, where she's originally from, that kind of thing. Also, if you're not the most boring person in the world, you'll be able to talk a little bit about yourself and maybe she'll have some follow up. Just don't make it seem like an interview, keep it light. After maybe 3 or 4 minute…

Weak guys finish last. As a fellow dude even I roll my eyes at a weak man from time to time. Plenty of nice, confident, strong dudes who never finish last.
/r/seduction28/10/14 05:50 PM

Can confirm, telling her she's cute is my majority opener too. Also, "I was feeling a little adventurous today so I thought I'd come talk to you". Eye contact to make sure she can see you coming.

Stagnating after college is extremely common. You're not in the regular social environments and meeting people is a lot harder. I think it can finally get to be enough where guys just say fuck it and go through a whole self-improvement phase. Make goals and get out of your comfort zone. Also, go outside as much as possible.
/r/seduction21/10/14 03:39 PM

Texting is unpopular in this subreddit, but I've never had a problem with a little texting before a date. If you're charming and funny, texting can actually do good things to escalate and show your intentions. Plus if you learn a few things about each other it gives you something to talk about on the date. Like everything, it depends on you, the girl and the situation.
/r/seduction13/10/14 10:18 PM
1

Whether your intentions are for relationships or sex, your strategy is mostly the same. You'll want to meet a girl you like, get her to realize how great you are and escalate your relationship with each other. Once you're at the place where you're both interested in each other and you're hanging out all the time you can discuss what's next at that point.
/r/seduction13/10/14 10:13 PM
1

The obvious (but most unhelpful) answer is "it depends". If you're going out in public together holding hands and being cute and couple-y with each other, it's a pretty good indication you shouldn't be seeing other people. But of course it depends even then. Just bring it up with her.
/r/seduction13/10/14 10:08 PM

Snapchat is a great way to keep in touch with a new girl in a fun semi-flirty way without having to be all "hey what's up" every other day. Keeps you relevant while being at least a little interesting.
/r/seduction13/10/14 08:53 PM
3

Good job man. Stepping outside of your comfort zone. Something to keep in mind is don't focus too much on this one girl, you'll become outcome dependent. Try to keep improving yourself and your game all the while. Keep it up!
/r/seduction09/10/14 01:39 AM

I think your instinct to bail on this one is the right call. It was great that after last time she came back with a day she'd like to hang out of with you, nothing wrong with flaking in that case. However, the second time you asked her if she was free anytime during the entire week and she made no effort to give you a time.
/r/seduction07/10/14 10:13 PM
1

I'm not convinced that words mean nothing. He's found a way to be charming that's true to himself. It may not be the words for her, but he's found a way to be fun and confident that suits him. I know where you're coming from as I've had the same thing happen to me, but having fun in the conversation you're having can work really well.
/r/seduction07/10/14 10:08 AM
1

Although I think too many guys make up excuses for not approaching, I think making eye contact first is a pretty good idea. It establishes some sort of agreement between the 2 of you that you've acknowledged each other and that something further is now okay. But if some people can make it work without eye contact, whatever works for them.
/r/seduction07/10/14 06:49 AM
1

To clarify, it wasn't what you said. It was how you said it, and the attitude. As cool as this is, it doesn't represent something new. I think it's a combination of what was said and his attitude. It's a great approach because you're being fun and flirty in addition to escalating. You aren't mingling around in the friend-zone and asking her about her day. You're clearly demonstrating your intent in a way that's clear (her body language and tone after this should be a big indicator of her interes…
/r/seduction07/10/14 06:43 AM

The "technique" you used is actually just one example of escalation that everyone talks about around here. You made your intent obvious and gave her an easy opportunity to either reciprocate or be honest and say she's not interested. The exact line may not work every time but the premise is definitely right. Congrats on the success!
/r/seduction07/10/14 06:34 AM
1

My own personal way of getting around this is to just say something that nearly forces her into telling me what she thinks. I simply say "I think you're really cute Emma" or one of another 100 things really close to that and see how she responds. If her body language, tone and words aren't reciprocal, move on.
/r/seduction07/10/14 06:23 AM
1

I don't think there's any one sweeping rule for eye contact other than maybe "don't avoid contact the entire time". Too much can seem.. eerie. Just do what would be natural if you weren't thinking "please Jesus I hope this girl likes me".
/r/seduction07/10/14 06:18 AM

This is a great response. One thing I would like to mention to the sub-Reddit as a whole is that these books have some great advice about life as a whole, but there's no better resource for learning than real experience with girls. Seriously, just go talk with them, even with ones you're not emotionally/physically interested in. Learn body language and the nuances of small-talk. The books mentioned are great, but should be used as a supplement to going out there and trying what works for you.
/r/seduction07/10/14 06:13 AM

It sounds like you know exactly what you're missing. Firstly, I've noticed there's 2 kinds of nervousness / hesitation here on this sub-Reddit. The first is the approach, which I think everyone including myself struggles with. The second is being straightforward in your conversation and body language which I've never dealt with. To directly answer your question, maybe a change in mindset is needed. I'm not consciously thinking about it, but I go in with no intention of "making friends". I go in …

I'd definitely wait until you see her at the concert. "hey I think I know you, you liked one of our pics on Facebook". Not a bad way to open it. But I wouldn't be like "I totally know you've been Facebook creeping me for months and I've checked you out too". I'd play it like you don't really know.
/r/seduction02/10/14 07:42 AM

It's helpful to have a few things in mind before approaching a girl. "How are you doing" is certainly a start. When she says "not bad", try being whimsical but honest "I don't usually do this type of thing but I'm leaving soon and I thought I shouldn't leave without talking to you first". If she's receptive follow with the standard "I'm thehoneycombtheory by the way, what's your name" "What do you do / go to school for / etc" Talk about yourself Etc
/r/seduction01/10/14 09:05 AM

Or, you know, avoid having the girl up-heave her whole life by cheating on her boyfriend and leave her be. This sub-Reddit can be so great yet so terrible at the same time.

I agree there's definitely some confusing mixed signals there. I'm not sure what she was thinking, "going back to my place" is a no-brainer. I can 100% understand not wanting to have sex, but to even kiss is really strange. Sounds like after that she just likes the attention and is trying to string you along.
/r/seduction01/10/14 08:39 AM

I don't think he's wrong for being upset. I wouldn't have walked out though. I would have gutted out the 20 minutes and playfully say that I'd be waiting for her to make it up to me and never put any more effort in until she did.
/r/seduction01/10/14 04:47 AM

"i went for the kiss when i shouldn't so she refused and she turned her chick. After a couple of minutes she asked me to go, so we left and i drove her home." I think it was pretty much game over at this point. I don't think you did anything wrong per se, you were getting this signals that she just wasn't that into you before even inviting her back but you took a shot anyway and there's nothing wrong with that. Plenty of other fish brother, keep trying.

100% this. People say you can't pick up at the gym because girls aren't there for that and are generally feeling there most vulnerable and defensive. What this means is that girls may not be as receptive to the traditional approach at the gym as they might be at a grocery store or somewhere else during the day. When you're at the gym, if she's not interested, you're stuck in the same place with that person for the next hour and likely repeated run-ins for the next foreseeable future. Establish a…

I think you're confusing what you're doing and what people are saying to avoid as the same thing. It sounds like you actually listen and talk to women, which is rare among our gender. I think what people generally mean by "don't show emotion" is things like don't go on about how you're sad about your life, job or success with women lately. No one likes a downer on your first date. The energy when meeting members of the opposite sex is generally tense as it is, so guys that are emotionally quick …

A good tip to use if you find conversation is starting to fade even a little: just leave it be. My general game is I make some sort of approach, ask the usual "how old are you, what do you do / go to school for", then I dip. Not only were there no lulls in the conversation but it also leaves her wanting more. At some point later in the night I'll say something like "I was hoping I'd run into you again" or something like that. There are obviously exceptions to this rule if she's being very recept…

Like most things, a bit of work and a bit of luck. I'm above average looking and had just gotten out of a really long term relationship so I was hitting the gym pretty hard. I'm not sure she would have been too interested if not for being in the same field (mathematics) and where I am it's not common to see good looking white people in math. I'm pretty good at small talk and I took her on a few really memorable first dates. Recently I've started to really pick up on how important having somethin…

Implying that she was so cute nothing else has been worth an erection.

I would agree. "im gonna be downtown tonight, we should get together sometime if your free." isn't that bad. "hey lets hang out, why the hell not, who cares, we'll have fun, im non threatening, we met before lets just chill" is bad. You sound like a salesman trying to get someone to buy something. Just tell them you're gonna be at X bar at this time and that she should totally come hang out and even bring friends. If she says no to you a couple times you suggest something like this then she's ju…

Not sure how educational the article is, but I don't think it's wrong. A sense of entitlement usually comes after you've had success, and the success came from you already being good looking, charming, well dressed, etc. I spent the summer with an absolute 10/10 and a "sense of entitlement" is exactly how I see the world. It's hard to not be confident and go back to 7's when you're coming from so high. If I were to start seeing an average looking girl it would just feel like I took a step back o…

Seems like a good looking guy with a head on his shoulders. If he can actually hold any kind of conversation with a girl he's miles ahead of most teenagers.

In my opinion the approach is all about trying to be as non-creepy as possible. If a minute or 2 go by and her body language and tone seem receptive, I usually just go with "I'm gonna be honest [name], I think you're really cute". It's hard to misinterpret your intentions at that point.

In my opinion snapchat is best used right after meeting a girl. It's a really good semi-flirty way to stay in touch/relevant in the early stages without having to be all "hey what's up" every few days.

I think you're right. You don't think it changes much that she's an hour away (we're both from the same town though when we're not away at school)? You think I should make the drive out there or suggest meeting up in our home town? I just don't wanna seem like "hey, we just met last night but I'll come drive an hour to hang out for coffee or whatever". That could just be me not wanting to look weak or overly eager.

Another direction is attempting to make yourself part of their group in as non-creepy of a way as possible. That way one on ones can happen without needing to isolate.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
