completely agree with your title, but the rest leaves me a bit confused. is there something wrong with fuckbuddies? sex is fun. best relationship developed out of that situation, actually. but then if there's no difference between a friendship and relationship, and well, clearly friends can touch and fuck (and cuddle as you mentioned) then really there is no bespoke categorical difference. which makes sense because a friendship is a relationship. to me the difference is more in degrees of intens…

OK and plenty of men are biologically drawn to fighting the good fight to beat out the other man and get the woman. Plenty of men love competition. Lol how is this "fighting the good fight"? It's not fighting for some noble cause this is fighting to get off, more like two drug addicts fighting over the last ball of heroin. Plenty of men love competition. Yeah and those guys prefer to compete in sports, not scrap over their supposed girlfriend every night because another dude is trying to take th…

Do they think it’s fair that women have periods, go through pregnancy, deliver babies painfully and breastfeed while all they do is nut? I'm not saying it's not a lot of shit, but plenty of women are biologically drawn to this process. And if you aren't that's why God invented contraceptives lol men complain about how hard it is to get sex, knowing that women take all the risk in having sex? idk that tracks to me lol. more complicated for women to fuck = less sex availability => people complain …

I think men are still having fun regardless i was giving the reason for the organism gap from the men not prioritizing women finishing while the man was able to. I understand what you're saying and there's probably some truth to this but it makes me wonder why she wouldn't do the same and at least rub herself off while you bang, and if it were me I tend to interpret that as: she's just not that into you/she's just there because you bought dinner or whatever, which is a bonerkill for me. So maybe…

Yeah but if we go through hell and back to get you in bed shouldnt we just look to enjoy ourselves after all the work we put in to get there? I feel like this transactional thing is always the fuckup when it comes to this stuff. Once you're in this position, man or woman it doesn't matter, it's too late to have a legitimately good time. It's not guaranteed to be bad, and if that's all you ever want then ok, but I feel there's a tier of fun above this that you will never have if you're viewing it…

I'm not following. Does this have to explain that? I always figured lesbians have more orgasms because they come with the equipment and are thus more intimately familiar with the female anatomy and what feels good. Like, I'd also guess that men are in general better at giving head to men than women are.

Yea just bouncing up and down is one thing, and it's fine, but I've had some women angle themselves forward very sharply such that it rubs their front quite uh.. forcefully with their pubic bone, and then they can hip thrust almost like a guy. It's a bit less comfortable for me cuz it feels like my dick is breaking, bent almost at a right angle around her pelvis which is actively wringing the blood out of it and rubbing the top raw, but it's also pretty hot to see a woman actually use my body to…

Women are taught to be desirable, men are taught to be worthy of desire. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=define+desirable&t=fpas&ia=web&iax=definition Desirable - adj. No. 4: Worthy of desire or longing; fitted to excite desire or a wish to possess; pleasing; agreeable. ... bro come on So while I agree that women face immense social pressure, men’s conditioning leads to a far more damaging outcome—because it dictates their entire sense of value, not just their desirability. In what world is desirabili…

The issue is that men are socially conditioned to depend on female validation in a way that women aren’t with men. You say you’ve never depended on men for validation, and that makes sense. Women don’t need to—their value in the dating market is reinforced constantly. My one nitpick here is that I think you're actually proving that it happens to women too and is maybe even worse. Like the negative effect isn't as obvious because it's just so widespread and pervasive. It's the whole social mechan…

you have no basis for any of your claims about how can supposedly live wonderful, content lives without women. If you feel like your life is complete without a woman, good for you. If another man doesn't, then you can't just tell him he needs to be content on his own. Actually he has plenty of basis and lays it out very logically. If you can't be content on your own then definitionally you're dependent on someone else for it and will always have your balls in a vise. It doesn't even have to be a…

That is...not needed. "Your dick is small" has been used as an insult. You know that. Just read one of OPs articles if you want a specific example lmao I mean you don't even need to read the articles anyone who has grown up in the US has heard this pathetic line parrotted by both men and women. And it's not just bare insults that promote this. Even a meme like "big dick energy" implies that big = good, small = bad. I don't see how that changes the value of said thing. You can rent a high value horse, you can rent a low-value horse. You can buy a high-value horse, you can buy a low-value horse. You will spend less renting a high-value horse than buying a low-value horse. 🤷
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/24 06:49 AM

Value is not determined by the seller, but by the buyer. You're not the only buyer. To a farmer, that horse might have value, but not at that cost. To a horse breeder, that horse might have value, and that's a steal. To someone who doesn't have any interest in horses, it's worthless. Yes that is exactly what I'm saying. I don't follow. A promiscuous woman can have high standards, a promiscuous woman can have low standards. Same goes for men. There is such a thing as a high value sexually open woman. Monogamy has little to do with it.

Well they can argue that to my union rep. I wish them luck. If you're lucky enough to have a union, that might help. But argue what? That you're not allowed to goof off? Or that them catching you goofing off repeatedly is grounds for termination? Or that they have a right to put you on clock inspection duty 24/7? I think it's a very silly comparison I mean you took it to the silly extreme for sure there. It's a comparison between lifetime contracts, not between marriage and slavery. The point is…

You made the comparison Yeah and you intentionally missed the point. I compared it to volunatry slavery btw. Your size doesn't matter for shit here. Welcome to an empty room with a clock for 8 hours a day. If that's what people want I have no problem with it. My issue is that people want the old rules of marriage and that's been made illegal. I disagree with that. If you want an at fault divorce only marriage I thi…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 09:27 PM

Well it's none of the legal work first off. Not having that "divorced" stamp is a big thing for some people too. It also changes the game theory of marriage, so a renewal is verification that your partner still actually wants to be with you, rather than just putting up with the regret of commitment. You might also be less likely to take them for granted. There are some others I can think of.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 07:54 PM

Because that's usually about concealment of intent. If she's up front like "yeah I'm marrying you for money" and you agree to that shit then I don't see the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 04:30 PM

What do you think of custom-length marriage contracts? Like say you could get married for a year with the option to renew. Seems like the best of both to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/24 04:21 PM

No that's like saying my employer can fire me whenever they like. They can't because of my contract. Now if I start stealing they can fire my ass on the spot. Would you rather they abuse you until you quit? At least you get severance when you get pushed out. You can also quit whenever you like so it's still not a good comparison. Go end your phone contract without paying it. Lol nobody is saying there aren't consequences for divorce, simply that you should be allowed to do so. Would you have a p…

I can see that if you're frequenting certain "dating" scenes. The trick is university, or some kinds of work imo. It's much easier to find people aligning with your interests when you've already selected for that by taking a class on a subject you enjoy, and as a result much easier to strike up a conversation. Evolution is purely biological. Yes, exactly. The result of biological evolution is creations of intelligence, as I said. I didn't say anything about direction, I said that our creations are entirely out of evolutionary scope. Well then you shouldn't have used "counter-evolution" because that means "in opposition to evolution", not "outside of evolutionary scope". Which isn't even true either. Our creations and intelligence are a huge part of what help us survive and reproduce so well, which put…

It is result of evolution, but creations of intelligence are not. ??? Creations of intelligence ARE the result of evolution because intelligence is the result of evolution! That's like saying beaver dams aren't the result of evolution because the dam didn't evolve directly from a tree, or that a chimp using a tool is unnatural because the tool didn't grow out of the ground. You seem to think there is some exemption for us in this process. We are not exempt at all. They are counter-evolutional "C…

Well yeah. It's also natural to have a society that tries that guy for murder. The distinction between "natural" and "unnatural" has always been bullshit. Objectively speaking, "natural processes" and "causality" are synonyms.

The thing is, even if it is, who cares? If you're high value whether man or woman flirting is just part of daily interaction pretty much by definition. There's nothing wrong with some fun. It's all about reading intent. A partner who draws and flirts with the opposite sex is just enjoying the evidence of their value. A partner who goes home with another on a whim is not valuable, but is instead desperate for validation. And at the end of the day I'd rather be with someone who freely chooses to b…

This is how women under 20 get attention. The hair flip/neck/earring thing shouldn't even be working on men over 25. I guarantee the guy you were taking to picked up more on your insecurity than her cheap display of attraction.

I have personally met women far more comfortable with casual sex than with masturbation. I've met plenty of women who will talk about their sex toys and stuff but haven't actually had sex in quite a while. And by "met" I mean I got to know them very well.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 05:09 AM

I'm a little confused. You're saying that getting dick pics makes you want to swipe right to find matches and not follow them up? Or are you saying it makes you give up on dating apps? Also you can't send photos on Tinder so you shouldn't be getting any dick pics.

Also, don’t believe them, girls often say they don’t but do. Ok? Those sound like fake tradcon girls. Real feminists are generally quite open about this. Like, I just got done talking to one named WhorasaurusRex about the finer points of hookup apps. Is feminism redpilled?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 11:46 AM

Nah, they underestimated how many women use dating apps just for the confidence boost from matching with people without ever intending to follow up.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 11:31 AM

Yeah if they were hoping to attract more users with this change I don't think it will work. Kind of a shame, I had pretty good results with it. What they should have done is doubled down and made it so liking someone required writing a message that gets automatically sent when someone matches you. Don't feel like writing messages? Ok pay for premium but you still have to send first. I feel like the fatal problem with these apps is that a significant portion of people use them for the addictive, …

Most redpill and blackpill content says that single women hookup. Ok but so does feminism. Part of that whole thing was social normalization of exactly this, which is why I'm asking if you consider feminism redpill.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 06:22 AM
1

Huh. So then would you consider feminism redpill? Because you're roughly describing feminist sexual empowerment and I always associated that with bluepill. I also just don't see body count discussion much in bluepill spaces because they generally reject tradcon stuff. Really though, is feminism redpill now? Serious question.

Hell yeah please occupy all those guys who are into women who don't break the mold. Luckily they're a dime a dozen so you'll definitely get all the love! Wish I could say the same for my kind of woman, they seem a bit less common. Or maybe they just get snapped up from the dating market quickly? If they tend to approach first that kind of makes sense I guess..
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/24 05:38 AM
1

I mean isn't this also the claim from immature redpillers? It's not the bluepillers I see obsessing over body count. It's the Tates and FreshnFits and otherwise tradcon redpillers. I mean it makes sense, the people with the biggest issue over this are the ones with the idealized projection of traditional monogamy in their heads. Putting women on a pedestal is not unique to blue or red pill, it's more a symptom of general immaturity. In my experience bluepillers want women to be more promiscuous.

Wow we really are on the same page! Hell yeah, women who put in effort awaken a passion in me. I'm so glad some women break the mold by having social skills, confidence, and interest in the person they pursue. I'm sure you'll agree it helps quickly sort them from the trash beneath them (yuck). When she has the guts to make it clear I'm what she wants it's so fucking hot. Decisively using her passion and womanhood to win the guy she likes is the clearest signal that she is a real adult woman.

If a woman is sufficiently interested in me, confident in herself, and has basic social skills, then she’ll take the lead in pursuing. I like women like that. I like women who get what they want in life or at least try. It’s attractive. If a woman isn’t pursuing me, that means she lacks interest (yuck), and/or confidence (yuck), and/or basic social skills (yuck). It would be stupid to pursue a girl who isn’t pursuing me. By definition, she doesn’t really like me and/or she has serious issues. Pa…

Even if the first message never was anything interesting, it at least attempted to weed out the women who weren't actually interested but just want validation from getting matches, which is imo the main obstacle in this domain. Like let's be real, I'm not on Tinder to have a real convo through text. What they should have done is double down even harder, forcing women to write and send a message in order to even swipe right. The problem is people who wear it like a hat and take it off when convenient. I feel a lot of this is labeling in hindsight. What if the sex works to move the relationship forward? During that period of time before commitment would you still call it the same thing? It seems to me that this is just "friend zone" behavior except from guys. Women can get "sex zoned" by men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/24 09:53 PM

Unfortunately this is one of those situations where the energy you put out is the kind you get back. You've worked so hard at putting on a shiny look that it's probably all people see. Do you actually, deep inside, like any of this stuff? I'm gonna sound crazy here, but it might be worth dialing that back a bit. For someone to care about you beyond your facade you have to find a deeper connection, so sort by that. What do you like in terms of personality? Do you like having a lot of shared inter…

Because some people have qualities in a friendship that you could not live with in a relationship. Are you saying your standards for partners are just higher? Because that's basically what I'm saying. What about this is bluepill? Blue spaces generally put less focus on contrast between men and women. Red spaces are about starkly defining, analyzing, and embracing differences between men and women, and their associated traditional roles. Asking the real questions. The "friend vs prospective partner" dichotomy falls apart once you realize "friend" is literally in the words "boyfriend" and "girlfriend". Why would you want a relationship with someone who isn't your friend? And what better way to figure that out than with friendship?

Lots of men have at least one experience with a woman dangling the implication of sex in front of him to get what she wants out of him.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/24 06:51 AM

But IMO that makes you creepy and is probably why these guys don't have many female friends. I think it's the other way around. I think it's the result of them not having many female friends. Women remain mysterious and objectified, making the behavior seem less creepy to the individual. No close, humanizing relationships with women causes a feedback loop where no experience => less opportunity to get experience => deeper entrenched creepiness.

Basically for (straight) men, is your only concern when interacting with a woman whether a straight woman is going to sleep with you/be a potential partner or not? I don't distinguish between friends and sexual/romance partners. They both fall on the same line, one is just more intense. Thinking about one doesn't mean I'm not also thinking about the other. That said, the inciting allure of going out to meet women is indeed initially to fuck.

What new age shit? Actually don’t care. The stuff you linked. Why wouldn't you care about that? You’re right. I am focused on the cluster of traits the sexes find attractive in each other. In this case I’ve been focusing on what the average woman finds attractive in men she wants to fuck. Sure but would you say that's a good way to classify what traits are masculine and what traits are feminine? Aside from my claim that those clusters are an illusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 01:28 AM
1

No one is fucking trolling you Come on that new age garbage is totally troll material intentional or not. If you disagree with that then it just means we disagree. I think this is part of it, but something else is also happening here: It seems like where we disagree is that I'm trying to classify masculine and feminine traits based on the differences between the traits that the two sexes express, and you are classifying masculine or feminine traits based on what each sex finds attractive in the …

I’ve been highlighting the differences wrt heterosexual attraction. And like I keep saying it's not a difference if they're attractive qualities in both! For every single one of those "masculine" traits on those lists I can say they are just as attractive on a woman and vice-versa. Are you gonna tell me women don't like nurturing fathers or magnetic personalities? That women don't like sensitive and creative men like musicians? Because it's one thing to point to a new-age infographic and another…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 12:49 AM

I can't tell if you're trolling me. The point is to find attractive qualities exclusive to each gender. None of those things you listed are exclusive to either, and the fact that you're using new-age "energy balancing" infographics to provide this information gives me the impression you're not being serious about this discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 12:07 AM
2

Then list the differences you're talking about. Should be easy, no?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 09:24 PM
1

I disagree with you that men don’t have a set of traits they like in women This isn't what I'm claiming. I'm saying it's the same traits. What would be more helpful is if you would list what you think the differences between the two sets of attractive behavioral traits are. I think they're the same, so the onus is on you here. It should be very easy for you to just list a few.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 03:58 PM

Do you think women find the “behaviorally feminine” traits that men find attractive in women more or less preferred in men than the “behaviorally masculine” traits we are discussing? What "behaviorally feminine" traits are we even talking about? The traits you listed for men are again, not a masculine thing. They're a "healthy functioning individual" thing. It's what makes people attractive in general. I think the average man finds specific traits very attractive in women. I do too, but those tr…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 03:16 AM

I mean you already did. It's just that those are also the same traits that make women attractive and thus it doesn't make sense to call them "masculine" traits because they're not exclusive to men. A masculine trait would be something like having a penis, which is something I imagine most women want in a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 03:04 AM

I define behaviorally masculine in the OP… I bolded the traits and everything. Yeah I referenced them in my post which you would know if you had even read it jfc

I mean if I flip this around and say "the girl who looks 9 who is behaviorally feminine will have more success than the girl who looks 9 but isn't behaviorally feminine" it should become clear that this is a game of definitions. Your ideas of "Masculinity" and "femininity" are projections of your own, which is why plenty of people can find counterexamples to yours. But then you seem to morph your definition into something that can be applicable to both sexes and doesn't really have anything to d…

It doesn't really have anything to do with sexual liberation. It's a free market problem caused by increase in standards because of increase in the maximum value a person can attain in their lifetime, paired with increase in visibility of said people because of social media. The peacocks are brighter and they have more visibility than ever. Women are just selecting for the most obvious choices. Can't get rid of the Internet so no going back really.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 08:33 PM

No. They correlate with less men having sex. If more men had sex the problem would go away. What we're actually seeing is a rise in sexual value disparity, where the highest and lowest value people are growing further and further apart, and the highest value are becoming more and more visible due to wealth and social media, which sets the standard unrealistically high for both sexes. from your own link: One might want to blame the so-called "hook-up" culture but the authors suggest that’s not it…

I dated a pretty solid feminist for a while, we disagreed on some things of course but people can only know what they experience so it's up to people to be reasonable and talk about it whether you come from a red or blue perspective. Very often we found that we were just missing the other perspective, and once that was considered it usually ended up that our views were not actually contradictory in the first place, we were just told they were. The problem is most people in general, often the mos…

No. You find many male feminists and female redpillers. The reality is there are penefits for men in feminism and women in redpill ideology, they are just largely ignored because the people who Stan for their "oppressed" group are the most visible.

it isn’t about equality with men it’s about domination. In a sense this is true, but only because domination was traditionally the domain of men. If women are to be brought to parity with men then it naturally means increasing their dominance.

Are you under the impression that sex without a committed relationship is a recent invention?? Can you explain how it is gross? I think many men and women would disagree (though I think many women would not describe what they do as "casual")
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/23 10:28 PM

Women and men face different standards of judgement for having casual sex because they face differing levels of access to casual sex. ding ding ding. Probably another reason or two out there for it but intuitively this seems correct.

If you read carefully his indictment of hypergamy is actually a very similar to complaints about unregulated markets and concentration of wealth. Through this lens hypergamy is a natural result of free market forces. The analogy completes itself if you observe how monopolies form and drive smaller businesses out of business by taking all their customers. It's not that he's normalizing hypergamy, it's that the forces that create hypergamy are the same free market forces that drive everything.

No, it's because they're trying to appease the male gaze. Everything they do is to market to what the men wanna see. Women of IG don't dress provocatively for other girls, it's all for the men! IDK about that one. The number of times I've been blasted for calling makeup/botox unnecessary bullshit is wild. I always get the response "women do it to please themselves/other women, not men"
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 06:48 PM

It’s entirely true from his perspective. He can know 100% that he won’t date you seriously. There is nothing a woman can do to change his mind if that’s how he feels. Yeah that's just how it is sometimes. But the point is you'll never truly know and that's very normal. Yes, but it’s entirely usual to know your own intentions. Ok? I don't see how that is relevant here. You can know your own intentions and still not know the other person's. They wouldn't know yours either.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 12:28 AM

Passing the looks threshold for sex does not mean you have a better chance if he’s the kind of guy who fucks women he would never ever give a chance to no matter what her personality. I mean that's not entirely true, you could be in either category you just won't know. It kinda sucks but that's not so unusual to not know for sure why the other person likes you. For guys it usually happens as "does she like me for my status/money, or does she like me for me?" and for women it happens as "does he …

if you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 07:38 AM

Yeah which was an answer to a question nobody asked. Nobody asked about someone who can't provide for himself. OP asked about a guy who could provide for himself but wouldn't pay for you and you responded pretending like he asked about someone who couldn't provide for himself, which is the act of equating the two in an effort to dodge the question.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/23 11:38 PM
1

That's not what I equated. That's exactly what you did. Op said: No, he doesn't have to. Only a provider has to buy your time because he has no value otherwise to you. Bleak. And you responded: Agreed. A man who can't financially provide for his life has no value in my life. I don't need the liability of a man who can only pay for the light bill. You literally equated someone who won't pay money for your time with someone who can't provide for himself.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/23 11:31 PM
2

Ok but OP is talking about someone who can provide for himself. You equated not willing to pay for you = not being able to provide for himself, which is not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/23 11:19 PM

Ok but that's clearly not what you were talking about when you said "liability". Not going on a date is not a liability, that's just normal.

I also ask them out and provide snacks and beverages because I choose not to accept the social contract which states that women owe men sexual favors for a steak and salad. You only make money if you are born into the right circles. Similarly you only get women if you are born with the right genetics. Why would I even waste my time trying to convince someone who doesn't want to change? Your existence makes things easier for the rest of us. Go and drag others down with you, makes life easier for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 12:48 AM

It's like money. You don't make a lot of money by working hard. You make a lot of money by placing yourself in the flow of money. Likewise, you don't get a lot of women by working hard to get women. You get a lot of women by placing yourself in the flow of women.

Two completely different arguments there buddy You're right, but that's not what OP was talking about in the first place. I clarified here: To be clear, it's not black and white. It's not "I've never been that exact little girl before, therefore I can't empathize." Empathy functions through identifying similar experiences The lack of experience isn't the "being scared/uncomfortable/confused" part, as that wasn't directly indicated by the original description. You inserted that, likely because yo…

No you are not. People have varied experiences in life but literally everyone has experienced happiness, joy, irritation, discomfort, disgust, loss, etc etc. That’s more than enough to be able to extrapolate to most situations. But any mentally healthy functional adult does NOT need similar prior experience to experience empathy. Yes, you do. You're just implying that experience with your "mentally healthy functional adult" generalization. People have varied experiences in their lives, which is why different people empathize in different ways and in different situations. This should be quite clear, even to you. Some people just have giant holes in their lived experiences. Call it "shocking" and "poor" all you want, I'm…

Imagination is still based in experience. It's extrapolation of what's going on in a new situation based on your past experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/23 08:31 PM
2

In fact if you can only feel empathy for someone in a situation you have previously experienced then you are severely, maladaptively lacking empathy. To be clear, it's not black and white. It's not "I've never been that exact little girl before, therefore I can't empathize." Empathy functions through identifying similar experiences, so if you haven't had one why would you expect that? Really not sure how you otherwise would empathize without having some shared experience. Care to explain?

“Chivalry” without empathy is performative, self-serving horseshit. I totally agree. I'm not saying it's morally good or something, just how it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/23 07:46 PM
1

I mean you're just moving the goalposts to virtue signal at this point. I think my point is clear. Empathy is based on lived similar experience, you can perform good acts based in chivalry without necessarily implying empathy, and lacking empathy in one situation does not mean you lack empathy systemically.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/23 07:33 PM
1

Simply untrue on its face. You can lack empathy for one situation and have it in others, clearly.

Chivalry is performative acting designed to ingratiate men to women. You're oversimplifying. First, chivalry doesn't have to mean that. It can mean just having a type of social valor that doesn't come from empathy. Chivalry means that man would be trying to steal the ten year old girl from the pervert so he can use her himself. Again, you're oversimplifying. He might be trying to look good for others around him, or he might see it unfair in the sense that "I'm not allowed to do it, so neither ca…

I mean you CAN, if you've been groped or bullied before, but generally speaking it's not empathy that drives that response. It's chivalry.

you can only really have empathy for someone in a situation when you've been put in that experience yourself, so likely no, but how could you expect him to?

"genetically gifted" lmao. You trying to argue that being tall or having big tits makes you a better person? Nah. How you end up is 90% nurture. Good parents and good education are also helpful on top of that for sure. But there are plenty of examples of kids rebelling against their parents in both great and shit households to become the complete opposite of what their parents represent, for better or worse.
