I know this is a scripted event but man does that give me flashbacks. As a man who had to come to terms with the fact that I was highly abused, seeing this was pretty close without the physical part. The talking down part is what gets me. I felt so useless in that relationship. Glad she is out of my life, but I still suffer from that abuse almost two years after all said and done.
