You are correct. That was the motivation I needed to improve myself. In the beginning I was trying to prove to her I was not down and out. I did everything without her support.

I just turned 50 and my wife of 24 years asked for a divorce. I had just had back surgery and was towards the end of healing. Went back to work a week later. Started dancing to a few songs every morning and that got me started on my journey of loosing weight. I have lost 60lbs and I'm in the best shape in my life. I am a totally different person today but hen I was about a year ago. You are right on all the stuff you need to do when your 50+ I get a lot of attention from women now a days and my …

I would get a nice big dog and teach it to not like her. I doubt she would want to just walk in when fido is on the other side of the door. I am sorry you have to deal with such a horrible person who thinks the world owes her. Good luck

She has to live with the chaos that comes form betraying your children as well as someone who she made a vow to. My heart goes out to you

It takes both people to change and then decide if they like that person. If you improve and she doesn't then if you get back together then she just gets a better you and you get the same woman.

Don't give up hope. Time heals. Everyones situation is different. Always do what's best for you and your kids no matter how your divorce goes. My ex wanted to live as Roommates for the next two years. I really couldn't believe her for about 3 seconds and then remembered how her thought process worked 😉 I have had to work very hard to heal to the point I get up pretty happy. It took working out and eating better. Finding my spiritual side again. Always thinking first how my decicions will affect …

My wife told our kids without me. They walked around for a week knowing and me wondering how to tell them the best way. That hurt and I let her know. To take a mans right to grieve with their children over a loss of the comfort that was a happy home life. We were married for 24 years and together for longer. On a side note I taught divorce classes to people in our state that were ordered to go to get a divorce when kids were involved. My mother had it as part of her business and I helped her out…

My wife of 24 years dropped the bomb on me after my back surgery. I fought to strengthen my mind and body. Lost 50lbs and got another job that took me from 76k a year to 100k a year. I get a lot of attention from women now and it's nice. She quit me at the finish line and I can tell she is kicking herself. She showed her true colors and now has to walk around showing those colors to everyone. She even told our kids without me. They walked around for a week knowing. On a side note I have taught p…

You will heal. You will overcome this. It takes time. Focus on your son. He is what is most important. I hope the day brings you peace.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
