In a sense. Basically, the field teaches to along the way. It reveals it's secrets to you the more you practice. Whether you get rejected or have success, the field is teaching you, so you can improve next time. The field is the greatest teacher.

Well, she telling you to stop is definitely not a good sign. Laughing and holding eye contact is not necessarily in indicator of interest. Next time you hang out, close the body proximity gap and see how she responds to you being in her intimate zone while in conversation. Keep us updated!

Please replace that 3-month goal. Instead, focus on what you're talking about, you (not that semi-attractive girl you're talking about, who I fear might be a one-itis). Make your goal to lose x amount of weight within 3 months. Exercise daily. Also, because you're interested in pickup, you'll want to level-up your communication skills. Give yourself a reachable goal that will make you more social. Make super small tiny goals, such as talking with one stranger (about anything). It doesn't matter …

Perhaps you needn't "spit" any game at all. Do you have guy friends? You'll find that talking to girls is surprisingly similar to how you talk with your buddies. You and your bro's probably joke around and have a good time. It's the same way with girls, except you take girls on dates :)
