No one said it was an excuse, but its definitely mitigating circumstances. OP makes it out like she knows and willingly sleeps with a minor and the show is okay with it. But thats not what happens at all. The boy is reprimanded for lying to the woman and potentially ruining her life.

I mean a big plot point of this entire part of the show is that he told her and had fake ID that he was 22. She did not know his until she was already pregnant.

Kinda hard to get the pussy pass when you murder 7 babies and attempt to murder like 12 others.

There is no logical reason as to why punishing false [allegations] would stop actual victims coming forward. The argument is that if the victim is scared they will be accused of false allegations they might not want to come foward in case they get punished for it. Mistakes happen in court all the time.

No it isn't. Your making it out like the mother was holding the daughter hostage over money but this isn't true at all and I don't know how you managed to get that from the movie. She had full custody. So she could have told him to take a hike but she's actually pretty reasonable and responsible and encourages him to be a part of her life rather than just try and get rid of him.

It wasn't about the money. She wanted him to prove that he had changed and was turning his life around. She wanted normal things from him, Job, Apartment and child support. This proves he has turned a corner from Jail and is on the straight and narrow so deserves to see his daughter. She just wants a decent upbringing for her and not a deadbeat dad in and out of jail. She didn't care whether the payment was $20 or $200 that's the point.

I mean Ant Man and the sequel has one of the most progressive divorced parents relationships ever. They get along well and help each other. They share custody and get along with new partners well. It's genuinely refreshing to see such a well done split between parents.

Heck, reach out to IT and ask them about it to see how you can best do this and how long logs are kept. If you ask IT this they will immediately assume you want this info for something nefarious.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
