That should change but now the government has decided to take away anyone's right to decide. Next birth control, same sex marriage, condoms etc. It's a war on people's right to engage in casual sex. Plus women can be denied medically necessary abortions, so they can die because of pregnancy complications. So if we agree prior to pregnancy about no kids but then he changes his mind, i should give him what he wants and fuck up my body for a baby he might leave me with as we aren't married? Ummm... no. Much like i think a man shouldn't be on the hook if abortions are agreed to and a woman changes her mind afterwards. She should be on her own if she wants a baby originally not agreed to.

Then we discuss it like adults. Ultimately though, we agreed to no pregnancies, so he cannot force me to go through with a pregnancy. I have no obligations to him. I never agreed to it. Right now my partner has been uncertain about a vasectomy. That's his right to not get it even though he originally agreed to one. So instead I'm getting the surgery. He doesn't want more kids so I'm being the responsible one instead and not forcing him to get the procedure. His body his choice My body my choice

Depends on the partners. I've discussed plans with mine and they do not want kids. They have kids. So we agree to have one in the case of an accidental pregnancy. In my marriage, we agreed to one until we were more financially sound as a couple. But that never happened. I decided with my partners. But i also don't date men who don't agree with those views. Why would I when those men should be with women who wanted kids too?

Abortion bans are ways to control the poor. Keep the churches filled and the minimum wage jobs full. That's the reality. If it was truly about protecting babies there would be healthcare, proper funding for schools, food programs etc to ensure kids were brought up without issues.

I will remind men that they also don't have to give up their bodies and lives for 9 months. If men had to carry a baby for 9 months, risking their jobs, health, schooling and more, you bet abortion would be legal and readily available. Financial obligations sucks but dying due to a pregnancy is even worse. Your wallets may hurt but you won't die from a baby.

Every dude bringing up their right to choose are missing the fact that abortion bans mean you have no out if you get a woman pregnant. There is no choice for either of you except maybe adoption.
