No shit, girls are expensive.

I just said I've been there. Everyone that found out, that was in the military started rumors and generally became a pain in the ass. Cheating is bad enough, but involving those horrible gossipmongers made it so much worse. People need to mind their own business.

I think the OP is an idiot. Been there done that. She needs to stay out of it.

Your reasoning is supisciously reasonable... Are you sure you belong in this sub?

Well, some men are raised to believe that women should stay home, cook, clean, take care of kids and be there to support her man and children, no matter what. Some are even raised to believe that women are punching bags. I don't know of many cases where women are raised like that.

They are co-dependent.

I do most of those things... How do those even make you feel manly? Those things make anyone a hardass.

Um, dudes, seriously? He dated this girl for a month and that was enough to drive him to suicide? He must've had more problems. This kind of sensationalism will not help your cause.

What the hell? How could anyone do this? You were looking at pasta for chrissakes! How is that suspicious? I would have definitely given her a piece of my mind... Politely, of course with a big fake smile.

Yeah, shit happens. I've been divorced, so I know.

I think you guys missed the part where I said I don't care about being married. I want him to say, "Hey, I love you. I think I can see myself being with you for a really long time. Let's do this shit." Commitment. If he isn't quite ready after a year and a half, to make a real statement about us... Will he ever be?
/r/MensRights12/08/12 12:25 PM

Yeah, he's just a little too noncommittal. He won't talk about the future at all. That's the only reason I even ask. Apparently, he wants to be sure he makes me happy. I'd be happy if he'd ever make something official. I was married before, and it ended badly, so I don't care about Being married. I'd be fine with a statement saying he wants to be with me for... Well, "forever". Something romantic. What's with the lack of romance guys? I'm not generalizing. It seems like some men are and some are…

I've been asking my boyfriend to marry me for the past 8 months. Waiting on men is ridiculous. I'm going to give it one more time until I just give up.

I think men don't like to say anything to upset a women when they know she's having issues because of hormones, or a mental disorder. Every single month my boyfriend has an epiphany." Oh, she's just PMSing!" Yes, I am, but that doesn't mean that what I'm upset about isn't real. So, instead of talking with me, arguing back or trying to fix anything, he essentially ignores the problems because of my hormones. I've got other issues too:depression, anxiety, low self-esteem(it's still a thing!) and t…

Yes, it should be. I guess one benefit of having a vagina is that it will never happen to me. Phew.

Hey, I just want to get my name out there. If you see me posting on anything(I mostly just observe) I'm not a femi-nazi. There may be two sides to every story, but I believe that there is common ground for every one of them. Each "side" has their own abuses, horror stories and their own successes. I support you all. Like a lot of the men on here have said, they don't want this sub to become about women hating. I applaud that! Don't let it become that. I don't even go on r/feminism, but I enjoy c…

She could have just as easily accused a woman. My sister works in a nursing home and some of the stories she tells about her co-workers are horrendous. The wrong kind of person in that position of power can lead to abuse. It is all too common in youth and early care. I think your gender actually makes you better, simply because you're already cautious and watching your back.

Women are crazy! We all are! It's not something I'm proud of, but men should be used to it now. Since feminism, women have found their voices and don't have to be good little wife's and daughters anymore :) so now it's more open, and I don't think men have quite adjusted. But, your ex is your ex for other reasons, too,I'm guessing? I got my own mental issues(depression/anxiety) and I know it's hard for someone else to understand problems like these. You aren't selfish or self absorbed. You have …

I just brought it up because I love broad shoulders on a man. It's one of the things I look for. I also didn't want to judge your body. I slouch way too much too, but I can at least blame it on boobs, haha!
/r/MensRights26/07/12 12:02 PM

Hmm, try pulling your shoulders back. It will make you look more confident. Which is the hardest look to pull off.

I'm a woman. It's alright. It really is. Don't let any woman shut you up, get your voice heard. I'm sure there are a lot that would support you and help you! I don't have a place to recommend, but I just want to say that food is good. It gives you life and makes you beautiful, inside and out. It makes you more beautiful than working out all the time. Is it all right that I called you beautiful? Just insert handsome if you're sexist like that ;)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
