More info please. Gifts and all is good but look for more actions. Kindness, generosity towards others he is not romantically interested in, how does he treat his other lady friends. Don't fall for him because he gives you expensive gifts, maybe he is over compensating for some serious flaw in his character.

What do these men want?!! Should women just throw themselves at any swine who so much as glances their way? A jobless man brings absolutely nothing to a relationship. He would be a definition of NVM. And it's not like being jobless doesn't have other red flags. Maybe he is an alcoholic, maybe he sexually abused someone at his previous job. Being jobless is such a term in vacuum, way more context is needed to even consider him a prospect.
