This text actually might not be enough to save him. Notice it says: "I am going to tell them you raped me" It does not say: "I'm am going to lie and tell them you raped me." The text does not prove that he didn't really rape her.

Violence in response to violence leads only to more violence. Not if you do it right!

It's not men that are being made fun of. It's Husbands. No wonder guys don't want to get married anymore. Why step into the role of the buffoon?

Oh. Diaphragm is a contraceptive. . . I was confused. When she said: "I'd throw out my diaphragm" I thought she meant it in the same was as: "Ow! I threw out my back" And I was wondering if it's even possible to 'throw out' ones diaphragm. And I was completely lost as to how that would help snag a man.

These little symbols here " are called 'quotation marks'. They indicate that you are quoting somebody. But since nobody in the context of this thread said either of those statements, I think you may be using those symbols inappropriately. However you can also use those symbols in much the same way a fiction writer would use them: To indicate what a character is saying. This would of course mean that the ensuing argument you make is actually designed to counter a collection of claims that you mad…

I also don't think it's a big deal. And I would have chuckled a bit if the joke wasn't so overused. It's like laughing at the 'chicken crosses road' joke. After it's used so many times you just groan. But GirlWritesWhat does a brilliant job of explaining how this actually effects men here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlvMAS_20K4 Men judge their own value based on their roles. Being a husband used to be a positive role. But the more society portrays husbands as buffoons or just large children,…
