I’d say train to be athletic, not to look good. Naturally lifting and being strong is a major part of this training but not the only one. And yes I can on both counts (lifting and handling confrontations). Also, abs on skinny dudes are like big tits on fat chicks. They just don’t count. If you don’t look good with clothes on, most girls won’t want to see you without them (ceteris paribus regarding more important things than looks).

This took me a lot of time to understand: It is important to have a mission. However, it does not matter that much what exactly the mission is. It can be a simple goal that you can reach in a few weeks and it still gives you a purpose and guides your actions. Currently, I have a handful of goals for half-a year or so which build on top of previous goals I have already reached. These are from different areas of my life and some of them combine several areas E.g. I’m attending a combat sport tourn…

Abs on skinny dudes are like big tits on fat chicks. They just don’t count. Concentrating on vanity muscles doesn’t make you look good with clothes on. And because of this, most girls won’t want to see you without them (ceteris paribus). The most time efficient way is to do big basic lifts. Should I choose only one for beginners I’d say good old back squat with more than your own weight on the bar. You can get really good results just by doing squats and pull-ups (aka the upper body squat).
