Wish I could offer some helpful advice, but if it were me I would go back to my doctor to discuss more in depth. Sometimes I don't get as much sleep as I should - staying up too late to gain more free/me time, combined with getting up very early to hit the gym. I have been known to get by all week on 4-5 hours of sleep a night. When I do that, besides being tired as hell every day and relying too much on caffiene, I notice the morning wood isn't as frequent. Get plenty of sleep all the time and …

How old are you? How much sleep do you get on average a night? Are you eating or taking products with a lot of soy in them?(some protein powders/bars/etc. can be made from soy) Do you drink a lot of alcohol or smoke? All of these things can have an effect on ability to maintain erections as we get older. I'm no doctor, and that's who you should discuss all of this with some more. I have heard before that it can be beneficial to have a second testosterone test done, as levels can vary depending o…

You'll never know for certain how many people she banged in the past. Finding out trickle truths here and there of who she slept seems like it would only make you angrier. So leave the past where it is. You can't change it. Reminds me of the skit from Chappelle's Show when it shows Dave and his girlfriend being interviewed by a person from the show 'Real Sex.' They ask her the craziest thing she's ever done sexually, in front of him. She says having a threesome with a couple guys in college. The…

I turned my wife down once in a similar situation when I was in anger phase. I don't believe either of us ended up happy or satisfied from that. Me - pouty, angry, and unsatisfied. Her - rejected, unsatisfied, and renewed disdain for me. A couple months later, the next time she came home from being out with friends and it was late, I'd been laying there thinking "I won't even give her the satisfaction if she tries. I'm turning her down again." She came in the dark bedroom again, straddled me, an…

I've quit dozens of times. So easy! No, nicotine is so hard to shake when you've been using it most of your life. You can know the million benefits from quitting but your brain will rationalize a reason to have some the moment serious withdrawl kicks in. And I believe the grip of an addicting substance only strengthens as you get older and use longer. But, as you said, it does normalize more after time and you learn to let go better the longer you distance yourself from it.

"I treated her and talked to her like man" I made that mistake a lot. It took me many, many months to fully break that completely and even now, every once in awhile I will catch myself talking to her like I would a male friend when I am trying to explain something. Luckily, through repetition, I recognize it either before I start or just as I am starting to do it and I kill it quick.

You sound like your own worst enemy. I don't know if that's something you developed on your own or if it's a result of being around someone like your wife/LTR who may have downplayed anything you've ever done, never recognize any good you've accomplished, or harped on you constantly over the years. If the latter is the case, that can destroy one's confidence and self esteem for sure. But now that you are swallowing the pill you need to do all you can to not let her, or anyone else, determine you…

A lot of good tips in here. In regards to eating right and lifting, if you weren't already aware of it, you want to make sure you're getting enough protein every day to make gains in the gym. I didn't know this when I started lifting heavier and was getting discouraged that I was not getting larger gains. I simply can't eat enough meat in one day to meet my protein needs, (around 200 grams) so I supplement with 2-3 protein shakes a day from the tub of whey protein I buy once a month. Also, I'll …

When I was going through hard times with my wife - no sex, feeling the ramp up to divorce, etc - I hacked my wife's phone. Found an orbiter that was an old friend. Hacked her work email. Found another orbiter at work. I logged all of that stuff, all that was said, and still have it saved and stored away in case it's ever needed. For me, it gave me one of many kicks in the ass I needed to work on myself and drop any remaining illusions that she would never think to cheat on me. She used them for …

When we moved into our new house last year my wife's parents came to visit for a night. We didn't have the guest bedroom set up yet and my wife said she wanted to give our bed to her parents for the night. I didn't mind. They are 80 years old so I'd feel like a heel making them sleep on the couch or the air mattress. I saw it as being accommodating, respecting elders, and doing a nice thing for one night. No big deal. I'd expect the same from my wife if it were my parents visiting. In my opinion…

I think when one has been mostly beta/nice guy their whole life that even after all the reading and internalizing, you still can slip and your brain attempts to revert back to old habits occasionally. I know I have at times. It's something I have to continuously work at, remind myself of, and work to improve upon. Sometimes I slip on a test, be it shit or comfort or other, but I see where I went wrong and mentally note not to handle it that way the next time. It's why I continue to read sidebar …

"I feel that I might be making a deal with the devil. " Might wanna trust your gut instinct on that one. Your whole post is littered with red flags that scream to stay away, but it does look like you're hoping someone will tell you that it's okay to get back with her. Of course she wants you to think she's been as pure as the driven snow since the breakup. I hope you really don't believe her when she says she hasn't slept with anybody though. You do you, but the story you're telling has warning …

Amused Mastery seems a good approach when your wife throws out a line like that. Like others here stated, pressure flip it on her, too. Buying something because she instructed you to do so reeks of pleasing mommy and is equal to telling her she is pretty, right after she told you that you never tell her she looks good. Weak. That said, I think it's also is easy to forget that at one time you courted this person and probably sometimes did buy little things for her as signs of affection. And if yo…

Good on you for finding the truth. Like others have said, do NOT show her anything other than your normal face. It will be a struggle, I know. You will get mad and want to say something snarky or hate filled. And she will definitely be testing things out, asking what is wrong. "Are you sure nothing is wrong?? You seem off, different, are you sure?" You gotta play all of that off and like everything is normal as can be. If she's suspected already that you tapped into something and she's changed h…

What you may find will indeed hurt your ego. That's good. But man up and don't let it propel you to make rash decisions. Find the dirt, document it, and keep acting like all is fine and dandy in your world. If you call your wife out on some tiny piece of info you've found, you've lost any hope of finding bigger and better evidence in the future. She'll hide it all more securely and you'll be out of luck. You will be crushed emotionally if/when you find damning evidence, but remember that all evi…

What all these guys are saying. If you suspect this much, and there's lots to suspect, then you should look for confirmation. Maybe you're afraid of what you will find. It's hard as hell when you come across even emotional cheating, much less what else may be going on with your wife. It can be a punch to the gut and an emotional crippler at first, but it will give you the strength and determination to move on and take next steps. Someone else on here has said it before, and I'm paraphrasing, tha…

Workplace relationships always seem like a bad idea to me if you're both in LTRs and/or you plan to stay at the job for a long time. One or both of you probably get caught eventually, one of you feels too guilty after awhile, the honeymoon period ends and you start seeing each others' faults, or she just gets plain tired of you after a few screws, etc. Then you're stuck seeing this person every single day, a sharp daily reminder of a rash decision.

Thanks for all the comments. I tried really hard not to make it sound like some rags to riches story, cause occasionally I see some guys post such great, miraculous stories that it's hard not to feel like at least some is fake. I know I am not at the level of a lot of the mods or other veterans of MRP here. And full disclosure, my marriage isn't perfect, I don't have as much crazy sex as I'd like, and I'm not at the level of being a great man as I want to be. But I'm getting there, and all of th…
