Sex is thee ultimate thing that a woman can give to a man. No that would be children. In other words the product of the act, not the act itself. Agree with the rest though.

This is exactly why - unless you're married or in a long-term committed relationship - having sex is the opposite of "empowering" for women. Sorry you had to learn the hard way; I'm sure you're better for it now.

I don't think it's masculine, no. The first and second date? Yes. But the fourth? Nah. In fact thinking up some date ideas probably relieves some of the pressure of having to plan them all himself. It also shows him you cared enough to plan something out for the two of you to enjoy together. Something I would probably do on the fourth date is go to a farmer's market or do something outdoorsy (if you're into that), like a hiking/fishing/kayaking day-trip. If not, a simple walk around town people …

Three dates? Way too soon to be doing 90% of anything tbh. Cooking for him is something that should be saved until you've committed, because it's actually a really intimate and special thing to do for someone. That's just my opinion though. You could tell him you'd like to cook for him sometime? That way he'll know you're the nurturing type and where your intentions lie. But don't feel the need to rush anything at this point - just enjoy your time together and getting to know one another. :)
