Hahaha, I've been made fun of by people much worse than Internet point hoarders

Dear lord, you are one dense motherfucker... Stop taking everything so literally and life will be infinitely easier to understand/succeed in. You're not the first person to observe this. Maybe there's some truth to it, lol.

Thanks for an actual answer.

Also, you're the first person I've noticed that's even mentioned comfort tests, here. Kudos again.

I like you. Your answer is complex and nuanced, not just LIFT MORE AND READ THE SIDE BAR.
/r/askMRP20/10/15 01:18 AM

Your analogy is too simplistic and removes the concept of human will to deny impulses.
/r/MarriedRedPill20/10/15 01:02 AM
1

Yeah, I get that, but that leads to my second question "Why is it basically used as an excuse, not a reason, that women behave like that? Natural impulses do not give us free pass to act however we wish."
/r/MarriedRedPill20/10/15 01:00 AM

If you're too stupid to use an analogy that's actually applicable, don't respond. I don't have the lols for it.

"But that mentality is the problem. Women are not typically predisposed to act on those thoughts like men are." Ask him if all the women on his pedestal can check the weather up there.

When I saw your username I knew immediately I was dealing with bland, over brewed, and often poor tasting shit. Often times you are surprised, and I believe this is one of those times. Well aren't you just a bucket of sunshine.

A woman is not a dog. A dog doesn't have the level of free will a human has.

A woman is not a car. A car has no intelligence or free will.

You're taking that statement too literally (no wonder you have issues with women). Makes for being a GREAT engineer and not so great in other areas.

Probably would fit there, too. However, I didn't want BP's perspective. I didn't want generic RP perspective. I wanted Married RP's perspective. This is the demographic I'm in and value and respect the most.

None of those are moral statements. They're all statements about nature.

Think of being put in a room with 100 guns and being told one is loaded. You would handle every single fire arm carefully because the potential to ruin or end your life exists. Also, I agree with /u/RedDeadWolverine. This is the best analogy I've heard to date. Most of the time, I see AWALT tossed around as if to excuse a woman's behavior and I wonder why she's getting a free pass for being a shitty human being. This analogy refocuses it on me, the handler, to do a better job with my situation. …

her, and say it is good training, and treat those delta men as if they were women, acting out of emotion and not reasoned debate. Harrrrsh, but true.
/r/askMRP19/10/15 05:45 PM
2

I like your explanation the best I've read, it's similar to what I was thinking and phrased above. Then, my second question is, why is the accountability for indiscretions so regularly glossed over? I think I understand AWALT, it's human nature. But we're better than that.
/r/MarriedRedPill19/10/15 05:42 PM
1

Women dont operate under the same rules of morality as us men. On what do you base this?
/r/MarriedRedPill19/10/15 05:39 PM
1

I think you're misunderstanding the term. When we discuss awalt we are talking about potential. All women possess the potential to do these things. Huh, yeah. If that's what's meant by "all are", it's badly termed. All Women Have This Potential doesn't form a nice acronym, though.

IMO, there's still a part of a woman that cares about how children will turn out, even if she's not planning on children. You don't get rid of thousands of years of genetic programming after only 40 years of The Pill. It may not be a majority factor, but there's still gonna be an "offspring component" to the lens through which her male choices are viewed.

The core issue for me is I don't trust my wife. Too many Alpha cocks before she met me and she loves attention. If I didn't have 2 kids I'd cut and run and do my own thing. Sounds like you're trying to get us to justify you leaving your wife. The answer is simple, but never easy. Once you're the best person you can be, can you get over it? If not, you're an awesome person in a place to leave. If you can, then good, you're the best person you can be and your wife will probably be drawn to you lik…

I know that magical marriages exist because I've a few friends who have them. Even if one data point exists, it disproves that "ALL THINGS ARE TERRIBLE" myth. Its one of the reasons that I don't fully identify as RP. I recognize the base human drives that fuel RP, but I believe that we are a species that rises above our base nature. We can be great and live in great marriages, just most people choose not to.

And that scenario didn't even happen to me, yet I was still fucking furious. Same. It's not that your wife would do exactly that, but it's that someone else is getting or has gotten the best out of your wife and it's not you. Her husband isn't getting the best. You feel you've given your wife your best, but she's not returning it. Then you realize that you're not giving her your best, but neither of you realized it. This anger is complex. I don't let it rule me, but it's always there. I thought …

EVERY..SINGLE..WOMAN..IN..OUR..LIVES lied to us and all told the same coordinated lie over and over again And all the White Knights who agreed with them. If everyone tells you that your head is on fire, but you're sure it's not, you start to wonder who's crazy, you or EVERYONE ON EARTH. You buy into it. Then you realize that your head isn't burning and you still have hair. WTF is going on? Then you come here, or find Athol, or find NMMNG, or you get effing lucky like the story in the OP.

I'd argue good PUA skills is almost free, exclusivity definitely a plus though. I was providing a quick point of the why so many Men get Married. Not just exclusivity, but exclusive benefits. In marriage I have more access to my children than outside of it. I have better children because of marriage. I have cheaper room, board, and other things due to shared resources. (Yes, you can have roommates, but you know it's not the same.) There are SOOO many perks to being married.
/r/MarriedRedPill16/10/15 02:57 PM

our society has made Marriage something you're supposed to do. It's also cheaper, if you do it right. Athol has a nice post on hooker math. Economically speaking, in the right conditions, marriage is cheaper than a hooker and has TONS of exclusive benefits.

It's my opinion that anger is an emotion that can and should be controlled. If you allow anger to flood your senses you lose the ability to logically think things out. Completely agree. This contradicts your earlier point, though. You said earlier that there's no reason to be angry, but now you say anger is something to be controlled. To control, it must be and have a reason to be. I'm in that camp. Anger is a fuel, to me, but too much fuel can burn you. Can't let the fire get away from you. I v…

There is just really no reason to be angry. You cannot change things that are out of your control. There is no reason to get angry at a person for something they don't want to do. You either accept that about them or you move along. I wholeheartedly disagree with the first part and agree with the second. There are TONS of reasons to be angry, but you're right, I can't control others.

Aw, thanks. I like you, I'll keep you. I think marriage, as discussed on Reddit, is super scary, but it's not been reflected that way in my life and those around me. To those who it has, it makes sense.

I bitch about my wife when I'm at the pub mostly because it's the only place I can. If all you knew about my marriage was what I said at the bar, you'd think it's horrible, but that's because I'm only discussing the shit highlights. I'm not saying you're wrong. I don't know. You could be right. Personally, I would never undo my marriage. I'm in for life. I love it. It's perfect for me. I'm gonna have the best fucking marriage this planet has ever seen. but it's pretty common, Is it or could your perception just one of skewed exposure or pluralistic ignorance? I'm serious, btw. Most of the old, married people I know are quite happy and in love. There's a fraction that are dead-bed roomates, but it's not the majority.

Traditionally though, looking at couples a little older than me, people just live "together apart" and do their own thing rather than bother with divorce. Although there's enough of that, too. That the lifestyle that you want? If not, what makes you think your relationship is special? Dear God, no. That's what I'm working my ass off to avoid. Really kind of surprised that no one has mentioned /r/marriedredpill... You can be RP inside a marriage, and it's great for the health of the marriage. It's not all rainbows and bunnies like I was told as a kid. It's shit loads of hard work but it's totally worth it. In no other situation could I see myself having my kids and them being happy like they are. Life's not perfect, but spinning plates or baby mamas wouldn't give me the life style I want.

You're implying that he made this situation himself, in a vacuum. If so, then I disagree. For myself, I'm mad at situations like this because it's similar to my story, where I was told "Act this way and women will like you". Which was a fucking lie. For instance: Does she like to fuck? Is she pleasant to be around? Does she make you sandwiches? This may be all you really need in an LTR. So then you pick up the chick that’s a little bit chubbier than you could probably land on Tinder, she’s happy, and you’re happy. I had a theory similar to this, way back in teenage years, even before I found TRP. I started looking for a unicorn, a woman with no problems. I realized that was unrealistic, everyone has problems. This infuriates me. I keep thinking I get out of the anger phase and this kind of shit drags me back in. Why did she keep pictures of her ex? Why did she keep sex pictures? Why did she keep pictures of acts that she doesn't want to do? My situation isn't this FUBAR, but there are parallels and it drives me insane.

Men with interesting, active lives and many sexual opportunities dont jerk off alot. They dont acheive this "success" from abstaining from masturbation. For me, jerking off makes me more relaxed, complacent and chill... which is the exact opposite of a "getting shit done" state for me. I need energy, agitation and desire. I jerk off and I'm numb. I don't jerk off and I get a little more tense, in a good way. It's not the super-powers that nofap talks about, but it's something.

You need to understand your own fucking mind. Daily meditation will bring you clarity, focus, and impulse control. When you meditate you are training your mind to be present and to better observe and exert conscious control over your own thoughts. It makes you feel a greater sense of well being. It makes you quicker and wittier. Meditation is lifting weights for the mind. Or do something that's just as good. Meditation doesn't work for me. Running does. It's my moving meditation. Dominance: gaining status through competition Eminence: gaining status through achievement people really value and respect Kemper uses examples like winning tennis matches (dominance) and graduating medical school (eminence). That said, I do agree with this: "all women have a base nature; all women have the potential to be overly emotional, make decisions based on emotion, exercise rampant hypergamy, etc." All humans have a certain nature. It influences us all. When referring to base nature, AWALT can be accurate. When referring to actions, MWALT (most) would be more accurate, but that doesn't roll off the tongue (fingers?) q…

How about as much equality as biologically possible? That's more justice than equality. The problem with current American culture is that it's acceptable to given women special treatment for biological reasons, but there's no balance for men. It's not PC to give men any sort of treatment. It's a very "have cake and eat it, too" situation. Personally, I'm for maternal leave and things like that. If that was the legal definition of marriage, I wouldn't do it. I'm very religious and believe in the sacrament, not just the legal contracts. If your "new" marraige was an alternative option, cool, but it's not for me. For me and mine, we are one family, one ship, brought together.
