1	Go To Business School I'm an independent consultant. I work for big companies in France. Consulting firms in Paris usually bill around $900-$1300 a day for a junior consultant. A consultant billed $1k a day by a consulting firm makes around $45-55k. Yep, $45-55k. As an independent consultant, you can bill $500-600 at the beginning. I would be interested to know what kind of jobs will put you close to 200k after signing bonus and bonus. From my own experience, the typical tracks are M&A or strategy consulting.
