If you don't think rape accusations are a weapon that only women possess you're fucking dumber than a box of rocks. What I said was that they aren't a weapon. Of course, such accusations are hurtful and can mess up people's lives. But calling them a weapon seems disingenuous, as if a woman can just cry "rape" and reap the benefits. It's more complicated than that, no? I'm not a fan of double standards. If men are being raped and those rapes are being ignored by law enforcement, that's a problem.…

There is a culture among men of using alcohol to get sex from women, the idea being that intoxication blurs the boundaries and makes women consent to things they wouldn't otherwise. This is openly discussed, I'm sure you've seen the idea +1000 times. It's easy to see how this culture can result in booze-fueled rape. Honestly, do you think a similar culture exists among women? I find it ridiculous for him to speak about what Nature has in view, without describing what he means. What are "the laws of na…

A horrible essay, imo. Insofar as he accurately describes female traits, he mixes up the effects of nature and nurture: he believes that the traits women were trained to possess are traits that women inherently have. This all seems very promising for reassuring men about their own assumed superiority, but as a study of the nature of women it is unscientific and ill-defined nonsense.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
