I'm not sure about nawalt comments here. It's possible. But I've definitely noticed less comments overall and a lot less upvotes. Either people are upvoting less to avoid 1984 style suspensions for wrongvotes or there's some kind of shadow removing of votes in wrongthink subs or for people who comment in them.

Personally, I think the current time is absolutely ripe for a return to spiritual values. I'd imagine in the middle ages when men held more power and respect, the act held more meaning.
