I guess mainly because it addresses inequalities for all groups, which mitigates the ability to scapegoat and dehumanize any given group of people. The ability to isolate and identify an “other” is a necessary tendency of fascism I think.
At the very least, most people agree that class based oppression exists to an extent. Edit: I’d like to add that intersectionality is a good check against fascism and authoritarianism.
The draft is hardly on the public conscience rn, but I’m sure if it came up their would be vocal opposition to it. I don’t think it’s a stretch that’d we see similar protests and riots to the ones we saw this and last month.
Depends on the brand of feminism I’d wager. Intersectional feminists are on board with abolishing the draft and addressing disparities in how men and women of all races are treated. First and second wave feminists however, not so much.

This is so stupid. As a male sex worker, we’d love to pay our taxes, have our profession decriminalized, and have our industry regulated so we aren’t in as much danger. Half our legislators are balls deep in sex workers yet they still criminalize what we do. It’s literally no different from being a massage therapist or any other service.

Ok but we’re still all paying the price of those actions, and if we want to fix our problems, we need to undue the systems and institutions they put in place. If we don’t correct the problem, what’s the point of complaining?
That’s a good thing, I want us all to learn to not be afraid to express our feelings and what not. A lot of anger comes from feeling sad and isolated, and we should view our emotions as strengths, not weaknesses. We need to lift each other up, and everyone else along with us.
I’m not saying that change isn’t hard, just look at how much work BLM is putting into it. I’m just saying we’re not gonna solve these problem by blaming groups with little to no institutional power of their own. As men, we should take responsibility for our mistakes, and the mistakes of the men who came before us.

Some solid points, but at the same time, men control the courts, the legislature, the presidency, most industries, etc. It’s hard to claim institutional discrimination when we control virtually all the institutions.
