You know, in all the hate this guy is getting, he has a point. I think this person has an objectivity significantly greater than those who downvote him. I also believe that a lot of feminists do hate men, because they veiw us all for the actions of a few asshole rapists. And some people on this sub hate women. It's just a fact of life that groups have extremists, the problem is that people veiw all men the way they view the extremists subconsciously.

All feminists think they believe in equality. All feminists think they are fighting for equality. They self select themselves into thinking something, not actually doing it or agreeing with it in practice. Also, women do still have disadvantages in some areas, just like men. From my pov, most feminists just don't see the inequality towards men. If we make them aware, they will likely gravitate away from the ultra'feminists'.

This thread you linked is actually pretty ok. There's some assholes, but there's also some comments calling them out. Really shows that even in something like r/feminism there are still those who are truly feminists and want equality. R/MensRights paints a very dim picture for men, but that attitude isn't all there is.
