I'll take that statistic with a pinch of salt. I was in an abusive marriage. My ex accused me of abusing her and won. She got our son and our house. She had no evidence. They don't need it. Damn. She sounds like my ex-wife. My ex got custody purely because I work during the week, whereas she doesn’t work at all. So, now I have to pay her child support and I only see my son on weekends. Family courts will look for any reason to award custody to the mother. It’s exactly the same treatment I’d get if I was the abusive one.

If you ever get accused, say "no comment" to everything (except for your name) until, and probably even after, you get a lawyer. It's genetic, but you will develop it sooner if your lifestyle sucks. I'm 35 and still ok, two of my siblings are 49 & 50 and still ok.
