Who said anything about a religious school? Yeah no shit you received a shit education at St. Patricks High School in Bumfuck, Missouri. I'm talking about the Montessori's, the Phillips Exeters, the Deerfield Academys and the Magnet Schools. I would say home schooling is extremely difficult to get right. I don't think Ive ever met a normal well adjusted person that was home schooled. People need to socialize in large groups when they are developing, thats clear. I also think people vastly overestimate their ability to teach, even a "high IQ" parent. Good info for the most part. But lets not kid ourselves, being able to send kids to private schools for 30-40k per year is far above the budget of real middle class families. I have no idea why you also make the top 1% the cutoff for middle class. 400k a year is an enormous amount of money. Maybe you should come back down to earth, all your clients may have that kind of money but it is far from the norm.

Why exactly do you think its any easier to break 500k as a small business owner than as a Lawyer, Doctor or C-Suite level business leadership? I would recommend going to look at the stats on business owners in the US, its probably much less than 1% that break that number so your argument seems moot. Whereas middling surgeons can pull 300k, good lawyers, solo or big firm can easily break 200k and CEO/CTO/CFO pay is the highest its ever been? I'll also add that the "High Quality" women that TRP is always taking about are probably not in any social circles that a programmer or middling entrepreneur even has access to. You want a truly high quality woman with a strong family background? Check the country club or political fundraisers and unless you create an extraordinarily successful business you need to go the traditional route or you will never have access to the highest tier of society.
