So. What have we actually accomplished here. You’re the one who brought them up. No, I didn’t. I never mentioned anti work except in response to your comment to look at everything they did there prior to the dog walking incident. Apparently you want me to pry that information out of you or “research” a massive sub going back several years instead of just telling me. EDIT: I like how you publicly admit to your mistake here but still permabanned me anyway and then muted me. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/01/25 08:18 PM
So. What have we actually accomplished here. Why are you asking me? You’re the one who said we should be replicating what they did. Tell me. EDIT: In case anyone is curious below is the “personal attack” that he deleted before banning me. You’re the one who brought them up. No, I didn’t. | 1 | So. What have we actually accomplished here. Thus far, the only concrete suggestion of activism I’ve gotten out of you is to “keep scrolling” through your post history and I’m not interested in doing that. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/01/25 08:07 PM
So. What have we actually accomplished here.then I don’t know what to tell you. On this I think we agree. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/01/25 07:51 PM
So. What have we actually accomplished here. No, I think the issue is the only one in this thread you called out was u/oldcardiologist66 and not the guy who suggested we vote for Republicans. However, I am glad to hear you clarify that you don’t agree with that suggestion. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/01/25 07:33 PM
So. What have we actually accomplished here.If I were being charitable I would say this was an internal mod dispute he made public and is now lashing out against any criticism. Could be. It’d be nice if some of the other mods could chime in and clarify. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/01/25 07:12 PM
So. What have we actually accomplished here.Agreed, this is getting suspect af. If the suggestion from the mod on this “left wing” sub is to protest vote for Republicans then I’m not sure how this sub is supposed to distinguish itself from any other men’s advocacy sub. There are any number of other right-wing men’s groups to choose from. I suspect people joining this sub want to advocate for men’s issues because it’s an issue they’re concerned about but they don’t agree with Republicans politically on just about anything else. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/01/25 06:56 PM
So. What have we actually accomplished here.Just to be clear - you agree with the OP suggestion on this thread that we should protest vote for Republicans or no? Because I suspect that’s going to be a dealbreaker for many people who are “left wing.” | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/01/25 06:54 PM
So. What have we actually accomplished here. You’ll see several attempts the more you scroll. The first of which is the men are human post you’ll see stickied. After scrolling through two years of your post history it seems like the vast majority (if not all) are just the same type of “whining” you’re putting people on blast for here. The one example you cited is also just asking people to post on social media but to do it using a specific hashtag instead. EDIT: I was permabanned for bringing up this mod’s own history of slacktivism. Appar… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/01/25 06:42 PM
So. What have we actually accomplished here.Look at all that was happening there before that infamous dog walker mod did that interview and made everybody there look like fools because they let their status as a mod go to their head. Again, vague. What exactly was happening there before the dog walker incident? As far as I remember that sub was always full of people complaining about capitalism generally and their job specifically. Maybe you can list specific examples of “all that was happening” and how you think that should be replicated… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 11/01/25 06:35 PM
So. What have we actually accomplished here. Then show me some real activism. Lead by example. You seem to be doing the typical thing of demanding activism but asking others to get it started. Which is especially weird since it’s the thing you complain about in your original post and because you’re apparently a mod in this sub who’s better positioned to lead such a movement. The irony is that the only thing I see you doing throughout this post is whining about people whining. Even your claim to 10+ years of activism is incredibly vague. | 11 | Young male friendships are starting to become more openDo you have any data to back this up? This is a nice anecdote but I have a hard time believing it unless I see some objective metrics. Every study and article I’ve read on the subject shows men, and especially young men, becoming more socially isolated. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 08/11/24 08:28 PM
push mens issues into the dem partyWow, you weren’t kidding: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskFeminists/s/JHzBxAlBw0 Imagine the reaction to the comment, “I told my wife to get her tubes tied or we’re getting a divorce.” | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 06/11/24 04:39 PM
Another proof of Feminism being Right Wing: The feminist movement has long historical ties to racism. The feminist campaign for women’s suffrage had black women standing in the back of the line and made openly racist statements towards black men. This isn’t news to black women. #solidarityisfotwhitewomen was a trending hashtag only ten years ago. Feminism has always been lacking in intersectionality. It is primarily a vehicle through which privileged white women get to claim they are oppressed. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 03/11/24 07:28 PM
