Yeah I feel the need to message the poor guy with the slim hope that he sees it. No intention of turning him MGTOW, I just want him to know that people think he's not the asshole.

If you go far enough in the comments there's even some hate directed at this sub. I don't know what I expected.

I know it isn't for everyone, but this is one of the reasons why I like anime, and Japan in general, as much as I do. They make entertainment for entertainment's sake. They rarely put politics in their shows, and when it's there it makes sense to the story, it isn't an agenda for real life.

As someone that's reading the books (since they are officially licensed for English release) I can't wait to see his payback animated. When that episode comes out I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this sub to see people like you reacting to it.

Both the manga and novels have an official, physical English release. :)

I assume this is going to be like Blood Dragon, just a little spin-off. Seemingly set in the same location so the map is going to be the same, just everything will be damaged/destroyed. Probably no major additions or improvements since it's coming out not even a year after FC5. Also, a similar thing happened to Wolfenstein, right? They've announced that little spin-off where you play as those female twins. Interesting timing, two spin-off games with obvious forced female leads by different devel…

I've emailed her. I made it clear that I'm not after an apology (although I will accept one if she does say sorry), I simply asked for a meeting to talk to her and explain why I'm not privileged. I'm already used to this sort of thing, it's very rare that I speak my mind. Plus, she eavesdropped a conversation and interjected herself into it, so it's not like I openly confronted her at first. :P But yeah, I've been doing what you say for years, just keeping to myself and dealing with it.

Exactly. I would assume that's to draw in a woman to consider buying the razor as a gift for her significant other. Either way, no one complains when it's men's bodies. Well what's interesting is the lesson was called 'Visual Media and Culture'. We were supposed to look at the PR side of adverts, diving into how they get people to purchase the product among other things. The powerpoint says, "Consider the relationship between art, advertising and social media." which, on paper, sounds fine to di…

I never thought to take it to an MP or something, but that is a good idea. It's now on the list of ways to respond to this situation. I'll just copy something I said to someone else: I like the course and find it interesting. The lesson yesterday was actually meant to be a sort of PR lesson as you learn about visual media and dive into things like how it's used to sell products, but the tutor injected her own feminist agenda into it and decided to speak about how women are objectified in adverts…

I noticed that, she went to the same general arguments every time I replied, and sometimes it felt like it was just a deflection because she couldn't answer the question. Did you report your lecturer? I'm definitely considering it.

That's very interesting. I never considered that, but I was thinking about taking it to a higher up and the uni. Thanks for suggesting that, I'm definitely going to look into it.

Honestly, I like the course. The lesson yesterday was actually meant to be a sort of PR lesson as you learn about visual media and dive into things like how it's used to sell products, but the tutor injected her own feminist agenda into it and decided to speak about how women are objectified in adverts. The problem is the tutor, not the course.

Oh yeah, I've heard about that. Isn't it because women make up a majority of money spent, or something like that?

I don't pay attention to much besides shitposts at this point and, despite using the website for years, I'm a heretic that likes the new design because it makes my life easier. What I don't understand is how this person is banning so many subreddits. Like, is he/she a site wide mod or something? I have to assume that's the case because just looking at it they've managed to ban a good number of subs. I don't understand how they're doing it at all. :P

I, myself, have been tied to Azur Lane since it officially launched in English with a little bit of BanG Dream on the side. I'm also looking forward to the new Love Live! game. Wasn't it supposed to come out this summer though? I haven't heard about any delays, but I haven't spotted it on QooApp yet.

To be fair, it's based off of a manga (Japanese comic) that ran from 1990 - 1995. I can't say any more than that though, as I have not read the manga/comic, nor have I bothered to watch the trailer for this film. For all I know she could turn out to be a Mary Sue, and the reason this was picked over countless other Japanese franchises could be because it's it's a female lead that can progress their political agenda. However, because it originated in Japan I am willing to be slightly more optimis…
