However, the same is not happening to admissions in fields dominated by women eg nursing. This is probably anecdotal and extremely local, but I don't see a shortage of male nurse applicants at the local nursing program at my community college. I mean, that's a legit concern. Black Americans were (still somewhat) treated poorly, so I can see how they wouldn't want to fight for a country that treats them terribly. It's the same sentiment (illegal) immigrant men feel when they enlist in order to gain citizenship, but somehow get denied that and are deported. The thing (at least from /r/Tinder) is that women ask a guy's height in their messages, but get disgusted when the guy turns it around and asks "so what's your weight?" One thing can be changed, the other can't. edit: OkCupid is the only one I know that allows you filter by body type (though it's a paid feature).
