The needy people are as shitty as the people who find them easy to be taken advantage of. So its really a message to both. Dont be a needy bitch, ans dont be a life sucking ass hole either hahah Totally both me at some point or another in life

This literally just played out over the course of a week in my life. Is reddit listening to me? Thankfully I've reset the tone, and it seems to be working.

You bring a great point to the table too. Some of these things really are trivial, and the true depth of a persons character or ability to be a great partner or spouse can only be discovered with time, understanding, communication, empathy, and so on. You mention God, and while on one hand I totally get that idea, some won't, some refuse, and some are just ignorant to how blessed we can be by some good ole' spirituality or good ole' God in our life. I've only just recentlt found my way back arou…

Great point in this, and I was just talking to someone about how close we actually are to the natural world. Look at animals, we work in essentially the same way. Girls want a strong male, in whatever they find to be strong. You don't have to change at all to be liked. You just have to get the fuck off reddit, and find a hobby other than video games. Not trying to dig at gamers, but you're not doing yourself a favor by moaning about being single while not working toward being the lion with the n…

I toned down the nervousness by doing anything at all possible to stop giving a fuck. If I'm super into someone, I still try and remember a month ago I couldn't have gave a fuck who they were, and until they can prove they're worth giving more fucks about, other than maybe for their looks initially and maybe education etc etc.. I'm just gonna do my best not to. Which usually helps turn the tides a bit. Best way I heard it put. Girls are like cats. The less you give em' the more they're after.. m…

Man, as someone whose been this person, but also not, you could look at those two pointers right there, and also look to those if you're in the moment and wondering if you are in fact being needy. It's really all about checking your motives before your next move.

I dunno, I mean, I struggled as the nice guy type for a bit. I didn't even know it was a thing until I turned 31. I wouldn't just call him a nice guy without really knowing who he is, or what environment he was brought up in. He does seem nice, maybe socializing just wasn't his thing. Good on him for trying I say...and keep it up! I like the social buddy idea someone else had

Well obviously I want to talk to her and will, but "just going for it" is a great attitude to take aboard, especially if you're like me and get caught up in your head feeling you've got nothing to offer, or some garbage. I'm referring specifically to landing a date. Not having a sit down with them in the middle of their work day.

That's what I'm saying. In the singles group I was with today, it wasn't hard to show an ounce of more effort than them and go for it. I'm 32 with the zero track record and mysteriously out of no where pulled two numbers today. Trust me man, forget what you think they expect of you. What you have to offer is just right for that one person you run into. Don't give up.

I just see a guy proud of himself for doing something he wouldn't typically do. Good on him. The rest is typical r/seduction stuff lol

I'd learn to sign for a girl I was into. Am I the only one?

I really enjoy going down on women, and have never understood guys who aren't into it. That's in a hookup or relationship.

This is a cool article and topic. Thanks for bringing it to the table.

Do you mean if you text first in general, or after you've had a couple text back and forth already?

That's my usual strategy. Within a few text I just ask for a number and if they'd like to go out. Text conversations are mind numbing.

This nails it, and is exactly what I'm gonna do from now on. Thank you!

Crazy you posted this, I was just saying this the other day to my brother, and felt alone in it kinda. If I so much as text more than one sentence. Either back to back, or in one text = nothing. The one word responses gives me NOTHING to work with as someone who is good conversing in person. ..and if I end up texting someone I almost immediately count it as a loss, and while it may seem stupid to do that. I can only take one word answers, or asking someone questions to try and converse so long. …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
