Anyone reading down this far. This is not the song or album she sued him form. The song quoted, "Cleaning out my closet" was released; July 16, 2002. The Judge ruled in the settlement; Aug. 8, 2001. Cleaning out my closet is about her trying to sue him. Wikipedia references the Song "My Name Is" as the song in question. The line specifically alleging defamation: I just found out my mom does more dope than I do

Or you can acknowledge that some of us have law degrees and you don't...

Go ahead. You are the person that chose the verbiage. You're just pissed because you contradicted yourself here.

No... The annoyance is that you fail to understand that we are discussing a situation in which a dude justifiably pushed a person that assaulted him in an effort to defend ones self. It is further more, an annoyance, because the law specifically clarifies that a person feeling threatened is entitled to utilize force the individual deems necessary to administer the applicable defense. I.E; Eye for an eye. Otherwise known as... Proportionality. the other person has full justification to do the sam…

Then stop discussing law... This is exactly how Law works.

You are wrong on so many levels... the other person has full justification to do the same "To do the same" is proportional. =/= You are not allowed to assault someone who poses no threat no matter what they did to you before, period. I re-direct you to... We are talking about a video where a dude pushed a chick that came at him. Not a video where a dude went godfather on a person who looked at him. All that needs to be done to determine if "force" is necessary is that the individual felt the n…

You are not allowed to assault someone who poses no threat no matter what they did to you before, period. No one made this claim. I am a good citizen, one who values facts over anecdotal experience. Interesting how you jumped to the worst possible conclusion... Good citizens don't judge others ignorant of any facts.

I mean you are right... The law in most jurisdictions does allow for defense of ones self and/or others. So yeah... the other person has full justification to do the same

Not really tolerated anymore either. Depending on how bad it gets before the staff gets involved... Charges are still likely to be proffered.

understanding your rights where you are choosing to live as an adult is pretty basic stuff Yet damn near every conviction that ever happens GLOBALLY is due to a lack of understanding of ones rights. That percentage outrageously increases if you're from the U.S. Ask me how I know. ETA: where you are choosing to live Priveleged as fuck... Most people also don't really get to choose where they reside in a way that will alter their "rights."

Compassion fatigue is such a large issue within the legal realm that Judiciaries are required to take sensitivity training in order to bring them back from their cynical thought processes.

A jury perhaps. But a judge... not a shot. Unless they were elected on a whim... Most of them have literally seen it all by the time they become one.

Part of the judges (and juries) responsibility is to observe the demeanor of the witness to determine their credibility, guilt, and/or culpability. Looking them in the eye isn't so much for "sympathy" as others have suggested. It's so that they can read one's facial expressions and determine what is and isn't B.S. Scientifically however... People are more inclined to believe a person when they make eye contact and pause briefly before answering a question. Many judges however, don't return the l…

Like the objection discussion from a week or two again... This is common practice. Witnesses (defendants specifically) are generally instructed to make eye contact with the panel (jury) or the judge (if judge alone) during any type of trial.

Technically yes. They chose to permanently close their Subreddit a few weeks back. They have instead created and migrated to a forum site that operates EXACTLY LIKE REDDIT for their community. It is joinable bye by ** application only.** Bitches be crazy. Edit: corrected a misspelling.

The financial losses that follow the "full pay" are still monumental. Every time a movie re-runs on a network (as an example) the actors pocket coins.

But here is the issue. Will the fans actually stand together and not go see the movie when it is released? Better yet... If Jason felt that strongly, he could walk away. Bet your bottom dollar that would have an impact on their decisions...

I'd say good for you... But you can pick and choose what you see on social media sure. Everything else you are exposed to however is beyond your control. The previous comment stands. The day we get baseboards or magazines empowering plumbers or muffintops I'll remind my position. Edit: billboards and Rescind. Leaving original due to mobile.
