I don't know how to interpreted that. If I understand correctly, the statute requires written consent in order to use the embryos by a surviving spouse. They don't have that written consent, so arguably it legally it can not be approved. I think Gallafent may have been explaining that her job is to insure that procedures are in compliance with the statute (ie she's not there to have opinions about what the wife may have actually wanted, whether the husband would make a good father, etc). That doesn’t seem like an outlier amount. The court has discretion in awarding alimony, but is generally looking at the length of marriage, respective education and employment histories, etc. Once your ex graduates and finds a job, you can file a petition to modify alimony (and child support) - it will not happen automatically. I think perhaps you are using an ineffective strategy. Women on dating apps want dates. Sex is part of that, but they are generally looking for someone for a relationship with even if it’s casual. You text these women to screen each other and answer questions about what you want. I think you would do better to operate in an environment where there is less upfront discussion. If you just want sex, work the situations where hookups happen. Work out, get fit and healthy, invest in your clothes, etc…

I don't feel like I need to always look my best, though I always try to look groomed and pulled together. For me 'taking care of my self' is a long term investment.
