I bought wisnifg and nmmng as a hardcopy. Wife immediately went on defense mode when she saw the title of nmmng, but after reading what its all about she turned positive. About wisnifg, she said the same and i just told her is need to work on my assertiveness again... "Oh, ok".

Hey man, I feel your pain as I'm in the same boat. Somewhere during our LTR she got the idea that I'd like it if she grew bigger and bigger. Got to admit, I don't like superthin skanks, there has to be some meat on it.... but there is meat and there is just obese. IMO after we got married she must have thought "ah i'm married now, long live the good life woohoo". Then she became pregnant and started to eat a lot of candy, behaving badly and whenever I commented on it she said "i'll do whatever t…

The reason I want to talk about it is that she is nursing our baby. The baby gets this motherload of sugar through the mommy milk, which I would like to prevent from happening. I'd rather see her eat more veggies and healthy stuff than bad stuff. The last thing I want is a baby with diabetes or fatty in general.

I have to add that even before the baby / pregnancy she was getting sloppy. During the pregnancy it just got a whole lot worse since she had various excuses to nog watch her health. What dread level are we talking about? Obviously me looking fitter doesn't seem to work. Flirt in front of her?

I cut her some slack over the past few days because of the newborn, but the German thing was discussed again. We were talking about it with the nursery and I told her I was going to enroll her. In retro I shouldn't have said "i am going to enroll you", but enroll her first and then say i have enrolled you. Obviously she now said "i will figure this out and dont need your help"

Are you saying I need to find a course for her? It really isn't that hard, "lmgtfy" comes to my mind. Isn't it that simple? Cant speak a language --> Find a way to learn the language --> Done.

And what kind of boundaries would that be ? You will stop eating candy in the evening? Or stop eating candy/nuts at all? Its kinda hard to set these boundaries, like working with a kid.

Well, Some other guys said, "dont fix her. Fix yourself." So i am increasing my smv, altho it is already higher than hers. Women talk to me and visa versa. I am in shape, but not as buffed as i would like to be. Seriously, i tried setting boundries and it only led to more big arguments and what not. And yes, the weight is an issue. She is 1.75 and weighs nearly 100kg. She only gained 11kg during the pregnancy, so she is definitely overweight. Every time i stepped in, i get a rediculously large m…

Food is a continuous battle here. Her entire family are not so healthy when it comes to food, and my wife's been eating/drinking lots of crap during the pregnancy. I've got plenty of discipline to stay away from the bad things, but she honestly does not give a fuck if I ask her not to each too much sugar for instance. She'll just come back with some cookies and eat them right next to me. Currently weighs nearly 100KG lol. I stepped in, tried to convince her many times of eating more healthy but …

Nope, We moved to this place because we both wanted it. I have no problem talking German, i love learning new languages. The place we live is very near the Dutch border, but houses are much cheaper here. Also many of the neighbors are Dutch, meaning that we still don't have to talk a lot of German in this particular area. The problem arises when you have to get in touch with a company like a Bank or something like that. She didn't want to (or at least kept postponing, which i interpret as "i don…

1) we live just across the dutch border. Friends and family (all dutch) live nearby. She isnt much outgoing though (as in seeing friends). Every once in a while she goes out to dinner with some, or just goes by for coffee but doesnt see any on a weekly basis. 2) Yeah its my money, but i have already told her many times that she should start learning german for obvious reasons. She slacks a lot and then just doesnt do it, because the husband will fix it. I have arranged everything from mortgage t…

Me and the mrs. had a decent talk the other day. She is noticing that I am changing but she's unsure if she likes it. She continues to say that she wants a "sweet husband", but considering her dominance I assume she is saying she wants a man that does what she wants. And yes: I can only work on myself. More lifting, reading, amusing myself. No more commenting on her bad habits. Came back from the gym a did good DL and OP sets. DL went better than expected and did 80KG properly for a couple of se…

Fitness Age: 33 Weight: 90KG Length: 2.05m I was already going to the gym 2-3 times a week + additonal running in the forest, but I want to go more often. Not too long, just to do what needs to be done and get back. Squats: 60KG Deadlift: 60KG BP: 80KG BR & OP: Haven't done these yet. Need to get going asap. I need some tips on how to DL & OP properly. Thanks for the quick replies guys. First of all, I didn't create a lazy person. She is just that lazy and has no intent tot change it. She would ideally like me toen sit on the couch with her, eating a bag of chips and do jack shit other than an occasional walk or so. I even get a weird look of i want to go to the gym again. Make sure i don't het too pumped up. I can start dining whatever the fuck i want, problem is that i would like my partner to participate or at least do something we and not …
