I chuckled a bit when I wrote it! But mainly I meant that while I'm mostly a stay at home mom, I do get to work and make some money for myself too, even if it is just 8 hours a week! It's kind of the best of both worlds!

Words can not describe how much I hate that. I would love nothing more than for my fiancé (or any man really) to cry when he feels like he needs to cry, to tell me how he feels when he's feeling down. At the very least, I wish he would tell his friends. He has depression and I know he feels so embarrassed when he's going through a rough time. I am so sorry you went through that. That is horrible beyond words. No matter who you are, no matter your gender, sexual assault and rape is inexcusable and every victims' story is valid. I hope you are recovering well from that experience, but I know it's easier said then done. I really wish that men had more spaces where they could tell their stories and get the help they need. ❤️

I definitely think it's a matter of "I've never seen it happen, so I didn't understand it" The way I grew up, my parents got divorced and got 50/50 custody of me. My dad paid my mom child support when he was more well-off than she was, and then eventually my mom remarried and the combined income was more than my dad's and they stopped the child support.
