Yes he is. Trying to quantify the vast minefield that is intergender relations to simple economic terms is incredibly flawed. There is no 'sexual marketplace'. You cannot apply 'supply-side demand' to sex. Sex does not have a market price.

That's the thing with the internet, you never know. They could just be some angsty teenager trying to feel powerful, or they could be someone who actually could act on their threats. That's why the law can't take chances with people who publicly threaten others online - you'd rightfully be punished for walking up to someone on the street and telling them you're going to rape them, you should rightfully be punished for doing the same on a public online forum.

So basically... you took the original comic (where the gender of the hecklers was left ambiguous to imply that everyone can be guilty of it, regardless of gender) and made it so that only women are responsible for appearance policing.
