Post-graduate women make less than men. Generally, people who go to uni make more money than people who don't people at uni make less than full time workers. Since less men are going to uni than women, women overall make more because they get access to higher paying jobs. however, when men and women go through the same education pathways women make less. But i don't think that leads to the conclusion of them wanting to. It may be apart of it but aswell it could also be caused by women earning less. The mean marriage age is 28.6 for women and 30.5 for men, one of these is outsides the OP statistics and the other is very close to the upper bound. "In 2022, American women typically earned 82 cents for every dollar earned by men." And the reason these statistics suggest women make more is because BIG COMPANIES ARE PAYING ALL OF US SHIT. The OP says 8% skewed towards women, for most people that's a couple thousand dollars which is yes an amount.
