1	It’s time to celebrate the stay at home dad: They don’t deserve the prejudice I am a stay at home dad. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The prejudice described in the article does exist, and can be frustrating. It is hard to talk to people at a lot of social things, since 'work' is such a common talking point with relative strangers. Since it is criminal, he has limited to no recourse. This is supposed to be because the Crown Prosecution Service and police have done their homework beforehand and have only brought a case to trial that is 'in the interest of justice' and similar. Sexual assault witnesses continue to be held to a standard of behaviour that is out of step with how rape survivors respond in real life.
