And yet both words exist in French too. 🤔 It doesn't matter what language you speak; if you don't have different words for different medical conditions then it's not going to end well. Why not just admit that you didn't know what the suffix meant? Or you could just keep digging your stupid hole. 😂

You're wrong. The suffix 'itis' means inflamed. As in 'tendonitis' and 'arthritis' among others. No infection is required. You should apologise for your misplaced arrogance. 😂 [edit] Given the alternative meaning of the word it seems to be perfectly in keeping here. inflamed adjective (of strong feelings) provoked or intensified. "inflamed passions overrode reasoning"
