I’ve never really analyzed the feminist side of the film. Seems unnecessary due to a lot of the crimes perpetrated were against women, so the heavy connotation of the plot would naturally be feminist driven given the main character. The context for the title is that the murders carried out in the book are against women (by men/man). Sure, it’s a flashy title, but that’s what sells for the main demographic.
